I loved to write and all I wanted to be when I was younger was a writer. I find it difficult to finish stories I write. What happens is I run out of motivation and I lose interest, which is why I need reviews. I strongly dislike Stephanie Meyer and her take on vampires (I mean come on, sparkly?!). I also strongly dislike fangirls who think Edward is romantic, not creepy. He's just fucking creepy!

I finally finished the Queen of the Damned. Now I just need to save up and buy the next book. For the record, they are amazing novels. If you haven't read them, I seriously recommend you do.

I love the show Supernatural and my favourite part is Castiel. I think my love for Supernatural has taken a scary turn; I'm officially addicted. Seriously, I just watched the entire five seasons in a week. One week.

I'm so excited for season 8! Hopefully we'll get some canon Destiel ;).

In the early days of this account, before I really got into Supernatural (I had only watched a few episodes and while it was fantastic, albeit slightly confusing, Harry Potter was more important), I had a person send me a message on how they too loved Supernatural and I believe they asked me if I thought Sam was hotter than Dean. By the way, dear person (I can't remember your name), if you are reading this, I take back my answer. Season one Sam is way hotter than Dean. Anyway, they said something about my username and I decided rather than letting them down and telling them Supernatural's Lilith was not what had inspired my username, I played along. I would also like to thank whoever that person was for being the person who made me watch Supernatural more regularly. I figured that if people were to assume I was a fan of Supernatural, I might as well do my research so I don't have to end up Googling pictures of Sam and Dean Winchester to see which one is which. Yeah, I actually did that to answer the question of who was hotter. Goddess, that seems like it was so long ago.
Anyway, I believe it is time to educate people on Lilith and why I chose my username. I don't recall what made me research Lilith in the first place, whether it was a passing mention in a promo of Supernatural or if I got there myself while researching something like lamia. The point is, when I first heard the Judeo-Christian version of her story, I was...intrigued? Inspired? I remember thinking it was stupid how she was cast out of Eden simply because she wouldn't be submissive to Adam. Really it's just another example of the misogyny in patriarchal religions. Anyway, further research revealed surprising things. It turns out, Lilith was a goddess. Some people think that she was perverted by the male dominated religions from something strong and benevolent to something evil. "Owl footed goddess of childbirth, integrity and resistance against tyranny. Lilith is the dark side of the Moon and represents aspects of femaleness often outlawed within patriarchy. She is a lunar deity who oversees women's monthy cycles, pregnancy and childbirth, and she protects newborns." Is what Ann-Marie Gallagher's book The Wicca Bible says about Lilith. So, no, my username was not inspired by the Lilith of Supernatural. In fact, what they did to Lilith pisses me off almost as much as what they did to Kali. I mean, come on, Kali would beat Lucifer's ass!
