The riot was happening around them. Chaos seemed to be swallowing the city whole. But he was running back anyways. "Davey, no!" And the Refuge wasnt too far away.

After a rather long stay at the refuge, racetrack comes back acting differently. He doesn't smile as much as he used to and he's always snapping at someone. And not to mention, the nightmares that plague him every night. Of course, Jack takes notice and is determined to figure out what happened to make race act this way. Set a few years before the strike.

Jackie is still reeling from her mother's sudden return, and Hyde tries his best to make her feel better. Set during S6.

Jack refuses Pulitzer's deal and ends up in the Refuge because of it. It's up to Race, Katherine, Davey, and Spot to end the strike and save Crutchie and Jack. Cross posted on AO3.

How they came together, came apart and eventually came back together. (Basically a fix it fic because Jackie and Hyde belong together!)

Hyde's back at the Formans and nobody knows why. Jackie's got an idea though, and she's not far off. Another "missing moments" one-shot, set during 4x05.

Angry after Bud's sudden re-appearance in his life, Hyde has some ideas on how to calm himself down. Jackie, however, has another. A "missing moments" type of one-shot, set during 3x03.

"If he's being honest with himself, the fact that he's still learning such enormous secrets about her only serves as a reminder of the things he wants to — has to — hide from her." In which the only thing Jack and Katherine share are the secrets that may keep them apart.

"She thought by now she'd be used to the screaming, but each fresh shriek still sets her teeth on edge and sends goosebumps tingling down the length of her spine." In which Katherine walks into a sort of Refuge of her own — and realizes that walking out won't be anywhere near as easy.

"Katherine's window is always open, something Jack has come to expect by now. Until the one day when it's not." In which Jack braves germs and the wrath in order to hopefully make Katherine feel a little better.

"And if you wanted me to take my shirt off, you should have just asked." In which Jack has no choice but to turn to Katherine for help, and it's not as bad as he expects.

Tag for Episode 5.07, Ina Paha. He'd seen him battered, he'd seen him bloody, but until this moment, he'd never seen him broken.

post 5.07 - Post incident, Steve is struggling to come to terms with loss of his father.
