growing up with people telling you that you are smart, or brilliant, is harshly deceiving. i've just now started college, and am astounded at how easily my so called friends can call me stupid and insignificant. it would seem to me that i am only there to let them laugh at my insecurities.
aside from that, i am originally from san francisco, and am just now getting a taste of the harsh reality that other parts of the country have seasons. being from california, weather has always been something that happens to other people, like cholera and audits.
