![]() Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter, and Alex Rider. I'm in shock. My eleven year old sister went on to my account and deleted 'The Seer and The Sword'. I know - I'm still mourning. Of course, I have back-up copies somewhere, but it'll take a while to get it all back up again. And I lost all the reviews! Needless to say, my sister is a taboo topic right now. About myself: I am ten years old and oh my gosh, isn't Aragorn, like, the hottest male you've ever seen? What about Brad Pitt? Total hottie! What did you buy yesterday? I bought the most amazing purse! It was, like, pink! Yay for me! Ugh... I hate people like that. My Slytherin mentality wishes to do many unmentionable things to them. Did that sentence even make sense? P.S I'm not actually ten. So, anyway. I live in Australia. English isn't my first language. I'm a girl. I'm in high school. That's pretty much all you're getting. My absolute favourite pairings are: Harry/Severus- The chemistry is brilliant, and what with their past, any relationship they have will be, err, passionate. No waking up and thinking "OMG! I love my best friend, let's get married!" for them. (Oh, and I realise this pairing is kind of...pedophyllic.) Harry/Draco- Same as above, although getting them together is somewhat easier (no age difference!) Sirius/Remus- Yep, they belong. If you can't see it, you're blind. Sirius/James- Just recently got into this pairing... Nice. Ron/Hermione- I just feel that they're right, in some way, but don't know why- don't care, actually. They're meant to be. Ugh, how sappy- someone call an ambulance! Pairings that I have come to expect in fandom but don't actually hold any feelings for: Harry/Luna- For me, there is only one blond in Harry's life, and he is the ever elegant Draco Malfoy. Definitely not some soft-in-the-head girl who wears radish- radish earrings. Honestly. Pairings that I cannot abide in any way, shape or form: Harry/Ginny- Ginny has got to be the most clichéd character in the entire series. We first see her as a ten year old, and yet she is already enamoured with Harry- a person she's never seen or met! In fact, she's already holding plans of marriage (pure speculation on my part, but can anyone say stalker?) For this mistake she could be forgiven (she was only a child, after all) but then, somehow, she manages to open the Chamber of Secrets by writing all about her pathetic non-existent love life (does anyone see anything wrong with this?- an eleven year old fantasizing about getting it on?) and has to be saved by Harry. He is then placed upon a pedestal even higher than before. We hardly hear of her for the next few years, besides a few casual remarks. Then, amazingly, just when Harry needs a love interest, she becomes this wonderful, funny, popular, beautiful, lovely, great-at-Quidditch, intelligent, witty, sporty, and- most of all, she's a Weasley! Now Harry can marry her and become Ron's brother-in-law and join in the Weasley family for real and have lots of babies and become one happy family! Yay! Can you say Mary Sue?? But no, that's not all. She just happens to look exactly like Lilly, thereby repeating history blah, blah, blah. What a laugh. (for more reasons, see above) Harry/Harry- Eeeeewwwww... Goyle/Crabb- Imagine two massive tubs of lard. Now picture them groaning and heaving and panting and gyrating all over each other... makes you wan't to hurl, doesn't it? Ron/Pansy- Completely ignoring the fact that I think Ron and Hermione are mean to be together, why does anyone like this pairing? A weasel and a pug dog, sitting in a tree... Ugh. |
