Author has written 6 stories for Legend of Zelda, and Baldur's Gate. Hallo! I'm Falls-44, welcome to my profile page! News: Falls-44's Progress Meter: Fanfics currently working on: Next update: My Fanfics: (All of my fanfics are completely original and may not be used without my permission. Thanks!) The Legend of Zelda A Day in the Life (FINISHED!) Another short little ZeLink oneshot. Link's a miserable office monkey who hates his job. The only perk is that he gets to work with the CEO's beautiful daughter. Legend (FINISHED!) Hyrule has fallen under the dominion of the usurper-king Ganondorf, who has hunted down the Royal Family virtually to the last. It is up to Link and Zelda, an impetuous knight and a woman with a mysterious past, to restore the true monarchy and establish order in their beloved land of Hyrule. This is my second multi-chaptered story, and I'm proud to say that for the duration of the work, I updated regularly once a week with a new chapter. It's not as lengthy as Old Legends Die Hard, but at around 100,000 words, it's still a pretty long read. Old Legends Die Hard (FINISHED!) Zelda Harkinian is barely surviving life as a freshman at Hyrule University. It doesn't help when an ancient evil goes on the rampage and a certain blond hero drops in to take her on the adventure of a lifetime! This is an AU story that I wrote, but with a distinct Ocarina of Time flavor (as will be shown in the later chapters). I've done my best to incorporate some subtle allusions to various Zelda games and characters throughout the story, as well as construct a fairly believable "modern" version of Hyrule. Snow Day (FINISHED!) A short little ZeLink oneshot I wrote, in honor of my school being canceled on account of a snow day. Poor Link never gets a break, even during a winter storm. But maybe someone will warm up his frosty day...? A Legend Trapped in Time (DISCONTINUED) Basically, this was an early story I wrote that I lost inspiration for and I felt I could have done a better job overall. So, it's been discontinued, but I left it up if anyone is curious to read the first two chapters. Author's Note! Okay, I've gotten a lot of mail from readers wondering why I discontinued A Legend Trapped in Time. I know it sucks when an author discontinues a story, so I feel like I owe my readers an explanation as to why I decided to cancel ALTiT: Simply put, about a week after starting ALTiT, I hit a major stumbling block in the plot. I hadn't thought out the story ahead of time, and as a result, the plot floundered and my motivation dropped. When I came back a year later and re-read ALTiT, I felt that my writing could have been better, so I ended up scratching ALTiT altogether and starting a new story. That story was Old Legends Die Hard. Simply put, OLDH really recycled the main plot I had in mind for ALTiT. My original idea for ALTiT was 1) Link gets the Ocarina of Time, 2) Learns that Ganondorf is coming back, 3) Goes back in time to stop him. That's the basic plot for ALTiT, and OLDH's plot is very similar to that. So in a way, I never really "discontinued" ALTiT... I translated it into a new story and context (OLDH). Sure, both stories have quite a few differences, but now when I consider whether or not to continue writing ALTiT, I honestly feel that it would just be a copy of OLDH with slightly different settings and plot points. I like to think of OLDH as being ALTiT's spiritual successor. It's definitely possible that someday I'll re-write ALTiT, but that's only if I come up with a new, unique plot that would fit ALTiT well. So, in other words, it's highly unlikely ALTiT will ever be revived from the dead. Once more, I apologize to any of my readers who are bitterly disappointed that ALTiT will remain six feet under. After discontinuing ALTiT, I made a promise that I would only start stories I could finish, so hopefully you won't see any more discontinued stories from me. Baldur's Gate Scars (FINISHED!) A tribute I wrote for one of my favorite games of all time. The story takes place a year after the events of Throne of Bhaal, with the Protagonist contemplating the choices and actions he made during his quest, and the subsequent consequences. Has some light Aerie x Protagonist in it. Other: Comments/Constructive Criticism are always appreciated! Got questions or want to talk? Feel free to message me. Sincerely, Falls-44 |
