![]() I'm closer to 40 than 30. I'd rather be painting, writing or reading than ever watching/doing sports. I tend to use lots of [...] before and after sentences [...] because I ask ...is a thought really finished...? The USA is where I live. In the Pacific North West. Closer to Seattle than California. I have a fine art degree in painting, have studied 3D animation (even worked on a video game that never went to market because Wii sued us.) I do graphic design, logos, and Flash animation. Working on being a children's book Illustrator. I'm a bit of a granola cruncher. I make eco-friendly clothes for me and my kids because I HATE it that nearly all stores get their clothing from overseas. This means nasty dies, poor construction and limited styles. Hello? Can you say mass production? Uck! My kids only eat Organic food if I can help it. Absolutely NO McDonalds food or MSG or other crap like high fructose corn syrup. Now that's really bad stuff. No wonder kids and adults are so unhealthy. ... anyway I digress. Other than that I'm remarkably ordinary. (To quote Luna Lovegood) I have a job, I have kids, I have a wonderful husband, I have a garden, I have a house and a minivan. I also have a room full of art supplies from, colored pencils, to oil paints, to canvas, to sewing machines, surgers, to fabric, thread, needles, water colors, acrylic paints, loads of brushes and a wall of inspirational artists. My computer has Photoshop CS2, Flash MX and a 3D animation program called Maya. I consider myself an artist even though I've yet to make a living as one. |
