I love reading fanfics, but I mostly read what I am currently obsessed with and only read other categories of fanfics when I feel like a new taste-- but that's a rare occurance.

Letting that simple little fact sink in your head, I'll let you know that I am currently obsessed with reading HP fics. (Not that you don't already know after looking at my favourite fanfics list...) As you can probably tell already, I am a twisted person, therefore it would only make sense that I find the most pleasure in reading fanfics that consists of angst, suspense, and anything dark. But of course, I also love reading those fics with the complimentary of romance. No saps/fluff please... they endanger my intelligence. They make me want to puke. Despite the dark stories I admire, I like them with happy endings, otherwise my spirits will be dragged to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean and cannot be lifted unless I read somthing completely wacko and absolutely downright stupid humour fics that I feel my brilliance drop by the minute. Then I will get over the sad ending of a particular tale and describe in vivid details to friends the absurdity of the previous fanfic.

I hate shallow fanfics. I hate fanfics that describes the characters completely OOC and made them shallow. Ex. Lily getting hysterical, woe is her, and all the bad things in the world has fallen onto her shoulders that made her want to commit suicide just because James Potter, aka playboy, has dumped her and told her that she is a bitch and he's only playing with her. Boohoo. Go jump down the Grand Canyon and burn in hell.

I don't mind YAOI, YURI, or SLASH, whatever you people call them. I love them and love their fanfics, but only certain couples. I don't mind reading NC17 stuff, but I have to say that ever since FF.net has deleted the NC17 category, most the good fanfic writers left.

My favourite couples in fanfics are: L/J, L/RL, RL/SB, HP/D, Yuki/Shuuichi, 1x2, 3x4, Raiel/Sizer, Tsuzuki/Hisoka, Suboshi/Yui, Akito/Sana... and the list goes on, but I'll stop right here.
