Um, wow, okay. FFN has changed a lot since I've last logged in (eg: 2004ish). :D;; Yes, I used to have an account here. The old one is currently used for my sister's fanfiction, so I decided to make a new one. Pretend like I'm fresh to this whole thing. I don't know if I'll end up posting here. I have this bad habit of posting something for 2-3 weeks, and then rereading it, hating it, deleting it. Soooo... I can't back myself up with any old fiction. I literally deleted all of it off of the hard drive. And I haven't written in YEARS. I used to write when I was 11-15. I'm now 19 and I still write like I'm 12. I'm just not a writer, no matter how much I want to be. So... In case I do end up posting here, a warning for you: I write very casually. I have to force myself not to use ellipses, because I naturally want to all the time. Also, I write horrific fragmented sentences. I'll try my best to go back and edit, to try and limit them. But I write the way I talk and I talk in fragments. See? Fragment already in my fragment warning. Not only this, but I have run on sentences with super commas that probably don't make any sense to anyone but me. Fail writer is not epic. Another warning: I am notorious for what I call "ugly language". I cannot write good dialogue to save my life. Seriously. If someone put a gun to my head and told me to write good dialogue the characters would shoot me before the guy with the gun would. Know this when you read anything. It will not be good. Old Fandoms: Prince of Tennis (what I was known for), Hikaru no Go, Digimon, YuGiOh, Slayers, Yami no Matsuei, FAKE, Kingdom Hearts, FF7, Kyou Kara Maou, Ouran, Supernatural, FMA (sorta), Gundam Wing AC (sorta) Current Fandoms: Supernatural, YuGiOh (I had a revival), Kingdom Hearts New Fandoms: ...none. Suggestions? A new fandom is not necessarily a new anime/manga/etc. Just something I haven't been into yet. Also, for anyone reading this, I bought the 1st season of Loveless on DVD last year. I gave it to my sister because I was unimpressed with it. Is it better in the manga? Another thing, has anyone else had this happen? I have a tendency when I first watch a show to pick one, and ususally only one, pairing that I really like. I'll tolerate others, but not really be interested to read them separate of said pairing. Then, several years later, I come back to the show and suddenly support a completely different pairing, and either don't like or am not as interested in the original pairing I supported. I hope that makes sense. EG: I was a total Puzzleshipping person back in the day and that was about all I would read. Then, I had this weird revival. I started to really enjoy Jounouchi/Joey more and I like Malik/Marik, who I did not like at ALL before. This was actually due to some youtube videos I was watching. I still read puzzleshipping, but not quite as fanatically? And obviously, my taste in fanfiction has improved, despite my ability to write it decaying. I think that's all I have to say. |
