Greetings everyone, The names Yasha. Im a 21 year-old country girl from North Carolina. I’m a senior in college and studying in Commercial Recreation with a minor in Business. I’ve never traveled past the eastern seaboard so I’m currently working on going overseas to do a semester studying aboard in Hong Kong, China; Sydney, Australia; or Querétaro, Mexico. I could use some help picking a good place, they all seem really good, lol.

Let’s talk about the reason I am here. Every since I little girl I’ve have a diehard interest in the supernatural world, mainly vampires. I can thank Bram Stoker for that. I spent a lot of time bugging my mom to take me to the library so I could read the folklore and cinematic media surrounding all things vampiric. What appealed to me was the sheer power, the immortality, raw sexuality, and the sorrow. Needless to say when True Blood and Twilight came out and jump started the vampire craze I was upset about it and I didn’t really care to go see the movie. I didn’t even know The Twilight movie was based on a book. Mainly because I was into the adult literature (which is why I willingly jumped into True Blood) and Twilight was teen literature so I didn't even bother with it.

Well to catch up to the present, one day a few months ago I had gotten bored and wanted to see a movie. I ran across Twilight and right then a there I decided that it was idiotic to not be opened to all interpretations of vampirism. So I saw Twilight and then New Moon right after. I thought the 1stmovie was ok…a bit boring but ok and the 2nd movie was a lot better and interesting due to my discovery of Jacob Black aka Taylor Lautner. I have to thank Stephanie Meyer because she kindled an interest to delve further into werewolves and shape-shifters. In fact I was so interested that I read the next two books to find out what happens in the rest of the story. I was actually upset to find out the saga ended where it did. So I found myself here looking for good writers and Twilight good stories, lol.

I have not been let down. =)
