![]() Author has written 12 stories for Gundam Seed, Harry Potter, and Song of the Lioness. I'm Sara, a 20 year old college student in the western suburbs of Minneapolis, in Minnesota. Back yet again, after another year long break or whatever it was. College killed my soul and all plot bunnies and buried them beneath the weight of Thomas Aquinas, Aristotle, and St. Benedict, among others. I think I might return to writing a bit this summer with my new, hard earned knowledge about subjects such as Japanese history, politics in the United States, International Relations, etc. But we'll have to see. But here is fair warning: i will write basically any pairing. I've written the canon pairings, i've written implied pairings, and i've written absolute crack pairings (like Yzak/Meer). So dont be offended. Please. And also, if you have a review along the lines of "OMG that was c00l wr1te M0RE!!11111111" or whatever, write like a proper human being or don't bother at all. And also, if you were wondering, my pen name is different. xxravenwingxx was kind of a thing from back when i was a stupid high school freshman. Then came Sakiyuki, which is a japanese word meaning, in a vague sense, the future. Which was rather fitting for my life, so yeah. Much better than the old name. But I was xxravenwingxx if you're wondering. And then came vividintwilight. It's a combination of a beautiful time of the day, when the last of the light of the day is fading and darkness is encroaching, and a word that implies brightness and clarity. So it kind of symbolizes the hope that stands even when darkness is starting to fall. I think its pretty, so there we go. In other news, if you're wondering if I'm going to update or continue anything, don't hold your breath. I'm waiting for the day when I actually come up with a good plot and spit it out. I've written a lot of drabbles and one-shots recently, but they have all been that load of crap that you have to cleanse every once in a while. Not everything an author writes is good. In my case, most things are bad, so they don't ever get published here. I'm hoping to one day this summer come up with something I like and post it, but at the rate I'm going its not likely. But in the meantime, I'm in the mood for giving constructive criticism. It helps people grow. I'm up for anyone who wants to give me their feedback on my stories as well. It's what helps an author grow. I can see the faults in my own writing, the weaknesses and discrepancies. I usually can spot all of those about a week after I write something, once the plot bunny has fled, so I have no issue with others pointing out those things. And I'm on a mission to do the same for others. :) -Sara Last Updated on August 30th, 2009 |
