Lydia and Wickham have eloped. But, Lydia eavesdrops and overhears the conversation that takes place between Mr Darcy and Mr Wickham and learns that Wickham never intended to marry her. This causes her to decide that she does not want to remain with Mr Wickham, after all. HEA for all the Bennet sisters!

Elizabeth has a realization after rejecting Mr. Darcy's proposal. Based on the 2005 movie. One-shot.

This Pride and Prejudice variation looks at what might have transpired between Darcy and Elizabeth, had Darcy not come to Netherfield in the first instance, and thus did not prevent the marriage of Bingley to Jane. So many novels end with the promise of marriage, and so few describe what happens after. I've often wondered about this particular wedding night, but frankly, Mr Darcy has changed so much by giving him some human feelings, I cannot imagine him, or Elizabeth, fumbling secretly in the dark anymore. Their first efforts must be heart-warming, their married life as well. Purists beware!

This story is moderately high angst, has a pretty bad beginning for the Bennets, and a long road to happiness., but it is several adventure stories in one along with the occasional bit of romance.
