-A Note About Pokemon-

I used to write Pokemon fanfictions in what seemed like years ago...probably because it was. I stopped following Pokemon the same time I stopped writing fics, and that's about that. I don't know why I've started again - so shut up about it. I've returned to a place where I am now very very confused. So many characters, so many f-ing Pokemon. There are like, 200 more now and I really don't care to know them. Same with the new characters, I don't care for them either. New voice actors, new faces, new Pokemon...

Anyway, I grew up with the original Pokemon. I remember being the ripe old age of 8 watching the first season, amazed that there was a TV show to go with my favorite video game. That game was the Blue Version that I (lovingly?) shared with my two brothers. I question 'lovingly' because the worst thing you could do to a kid back then was save a new profile over their old one. That happened. Twice.

This is my point. I don't write about new Pokemon, I write about old Pokemon. I don't know the new characters, just the old. I'll use Bulbapedia to update my information about the Pokemon I know, but by God the county line stops at Johto. The first set of 'new' Pokemon was fun, so thanks. But I don't need any more.
