I've tweeked my profile again on the date noted above... preparing for DA Tri, and other things. Also I plan to find a way to drastically shorten it by moving my long Taiora rant elsewhere. For those of you who are wondering why I said I would update months ago and never did, well it's for the same reason I've been absent tending to my stories for the past few years. Originally it was lack of interest and writters block, then, Life. Simple as that. When I do update, or publish something new, I can explain a little more perhaps, or you can always talk to me/ask me anything. I've never actually left.

On temporary hiatus... sorry :(

So, let's get straight to it. arandomguy227, TheOmegaMan, and myself have decided to start something called the Taiora Olympics. The main purpose of this is to spread Taiora and have a bit of fun. :)

Basically, you look at the prompt we give you, and write a one shot on it. Simple, no? Now, a few more things.

There are two different entry prompts. One is for the month, one is for a specific holiday. Either can be entered into the competition. Fics must be entered by the end of the month, and will be judged at the end of the month. The winner will be displayed on our profiles with a link to there story. Also, all entries must be one-shots or drabbles (ficletsthat are less than five-hundred words). You can interpret the prompt in any way you want; just keep it at a PG-13 level. ;)

OK... now that you know a little about me let me get down to why I'm here... LONG LIVE TAIORA!!!

I, LOVE, Taiora. I, HATE, Sorato. Now I'll let you process that information for a minute. I could go on a rant for an hour strait on why Sorato is wrong and why Taiora is right but for the sake of time and my sanity I'll shorten it to this; blah blah blah, burn in hell Toei. Sorato must Die!!!

HOW COULD ANYTHING THAT DESTROYS TAIORA BE GOOD?

(If you want a little more detail in a nut shell, here it is, it was obvious Tai and Sora had something for each other since the beginning. Tai was always their for Sora, Sora always had Tai's back. They both play soccer. Tai and Sora were best friend and statistics show best friends tend to end up together. There was heavy Taiora in the First Digimon movie, even a little in "Revenge of Deoboromon". Some say Kari got in the way. Others point out that it all came down to a few idiots in Toei that liked Matt's character more, so in season 02, if you pay close attention it heavily favors Matt in various ways, while casting Tai as a player. Sorato came about so suddenly and with virtually no warning. Toei betrayed its fans. While there is technically nothing wrong with Sorato it was not at all the right thing to do. And the rumor is Sora and Matt got a divorse that wouldn't have happened with Taiora. Even the voice actors of the Japanese and American Versions were stunned Sora didn't end up with Tai, I even read on a Taiora website that the Japanese Gabumon voice actor would have told Sora to go with Tai! Everything that happened after season 02 is pretty much up in the air. This is just the tip of the Ice berg in this war that has no end in sight. Regardless, for these reasons I support Taiora, and it is the only pairing in Digimon [all of anime for that matter] that I give a damn about. Also may I point out that Taiora was the first officially fan recognized couple in Digimon.)

Ahhh, Taiora. Such a cute couple. It seemed assured, until Sorato came in out of thin air. There was near zero evidence for it.

In Addition, let me tell you what Sorato Fans are and therefore the only thing Sorato is. Sorato fans are essentially Matt fans that saw and recognized Taiora just like the rest of us. But when Sora ended up with Matt, the Matt fans naturally became Sorato Fans. That is all Sorato will every be... Toei's greatest mistake. Now, some people say Matt is a good for nothing, selfish, Bastard and Sora is a slutty bitch. I don't take it quite that far, but I certainly see their point. After all they apparently got divorced... just like their parents... serves them right.

Now for a bit on the greatest couple in Digimon History; Taiora. Taiora is great. Sorato fans are very confused because they say 'Sora never belonged to Tai, she always belonged to Matt.' There logic makes no sense at all. (Goes to show you why Sorato is wrong, there fan base is retarded.) Any way let us prove their theory wrong by examining Taiora. Sora agreed with Tai a lot more than Matt. Sora was the one that kept Tai cool headed when necessary. Tai saved Sora, more then Matt, example, Datamon. Tai and Soraalwaysgot in fights over pointless things, example hair clip. (For people that say they were not right for each other, you know what they say, opposites attract, though in other ways they were also alike.) Sora was always waiting for Tai to call. In the last Adventure movie, Sora grabs Tai not Matt. This is just a basic and brief analysis. Man, 02.38 broke my heart, that was so hard to watch and still is.

To the Sorato or should I say Matt fans that want to make the claim that Sorato was planned from the beginning, I say this. I was talking to a dude on a blog that said he read somewhere that the creator of Digimon wanted it to be Tai/Sora, but the studio changed it in 02 because Matt and Sora were the most popular characters in Japan. Unfortunately Japan takes precedence over the rest of the world when it comes to Digimon.

Now for an philosophical and ethical approach to Taiora... According to the ethical theory of Egoism vs Altruism; an Egoistic individual does everything for his or her own gratification. An Altruistic individual does everything with the benefit of others in mind. Therefor in order to love someone you must be Altruistic in nature and not Egoistic. Based off of that knowledge Matt was Egoistic in that he didn't care about Tai's feelings or the opinion of other (Kari/Izzy) and wanted to gratified himself by having Sora. In such a relationship divorce is a likely outcome. That is exactly what happened. Tai on the other hand is Altruistic. He put Sora's happinessabove his own, because her just wanted her to be happy. That demonstrates a state of true love for someone. He gave up on his happinessfor the sake of the love of his life. This act of complete selflessness proves Tai's moral character is far superior to Matts. I'm not being biased, I'm merely pointing out the facts. The Japanese writers clearly didn't give much thought to how love works, and made the relationship between Matt and friendship deeply flawed. Not to mention the appearance of Sorato gave question to Sora's connection with love and Tai's connection with courage.

TAIORA WAS DESTINED, SORATO WAS NOT. THEREFORE TAIORA IS RIGHT.

Therefore I will be writing Taiora stories only, no AU bullshit, no retarted song Fics, digimon characters will be included in most, Romance/Friendship/Hurt Comfort/and possibly some Angst. Their will be Tai/Sora Marriage, friendship, girlfriend, boyfriend. Some will have them pair right off the back, others later. Some will go though Sorato first, some will acknowledge "Million points of Light" but end up Taiora. Most happy, few sad, NO Sorato endings (special exceptions may apply) Etc. Minor character bashing on rare occasion. Characters will be kept in character as much as possible and references such as "Stupid Tai" will be used when deemed necessary. Simplified English character names (ex: Tai Kamiya) will be used. Ratings K-M, anything except gay stuff goes. I'm certainly no fan of Michi either, I'm insulted by it really.

Now, in regards to other pairings... I will usually avoid them and focus soley on Taiora, however you may see some Takari... As for Mimi I just can't see her with Joe, Izzy, or Matt (my opinion). I don't mind Ken and Yolei together so they may be referenced. Some of the Digidestined may end up with made up characters when necessary.

In my opinion Tai is the hands down coolest Digidestined (I mean come on he is the original Goggle-head, the original leader, and a complete badass). Sora is... cool, just... confused. Matt... I don't dislike the guy, it just really pisses me off he stole Sora from Tai (Crest of friendship my ass). Joe, old reliable, what else can I say. Mimi, I usually tend to dislike this type of girl but I like her. Izzy is great, always insightful, but he backed Matt in the end and not Tai... TK, I don't Know anyone that doesn't like him. Kari, wonderful kari, for some one that's physic, I'm surprised she did say something to Tai... Davis, to be honest I found him annoying at first, but he kind of grows on you. Yolei, I'm indifferent to her really. Cody, never really cared for the guy. Ken, I preferred him as the digimon emperor. (Yeah its true I'm not a huge fan of the new Digidestined for a number of reasons, but don't worry this won't be reflected in my stories.)

No references passed season 02 will be made, I never bothered to watch after Taiora died. (It took 20 seconds to kill it) I won't lie, epic as the last 15 episodes of 02 were, Sorato literally killed the 02 season for me, not to mention Digimon. I just couldn't enjoy the epicness after episode 38.

Also if you are a SoRato fan don't bother to contact or flame me, I have no time for your kind. (Unless I happen to write a Taiora so compelling you change your views and hop on the other boat.)

God knows, I, like all Taiora fans, have, at one point, (for most of us it was after season 02) tried our best to accept Sorato. Believe me I tried. But I couldn't accept it. I couldn't find peace because I knew it was wrong. So I, like so many others, will be a Taiora fan to the bitter end.

Let me leave you all with this, when Sora left Taihe wasn't angry he encouraged her and supported her for her happiness and said "I'll be waiting". When Izzy asked Matt if he was concerned that Tai was alone with sora, Matt dismissed it calling tai a good friend and say he knows how I feel about her. Even though Matt and everyone else new Tai loved her. (Oh and for those that try to say Tai didn't have feelings for Sora just recall the lines "Oh... Matt Huh...". So ask yourselves what was really right... Taiora or Sorato? The answer should be very clear.

(As of 2/16/15 I have multiple stories up and plan to write much more... I will also complete the 2 that aren't finished yet, probably... to spread the word of Taiora and correct Toei's mistake... stand by...)
