um, okay, so here goes. this is- quite obviously -my profile, and thus it is the place for you to find out about me and my stories. i must warn you that i have a TON of ideas swimming about in my head at any and all times (it's due to a slight disorder of mine) so i will most likely have a TON of stories all going at once. i may update them all quite sporadically as my mind jumps from one to another to another and back again. bear with me...or else...just kidding! ah, so, here we go.

Name: ember destiny caldwell. my dad is a total fantasy/sci-fi buff and thought the name destiny would be cool. my mom chose ember because she says it symbolized a fire that had been put out, but a small, seemingly insignificant little ember can light it up again.

Age: not gonna tell you, cuz for me, it feels weird to know the age of the author. whatever

How I Look: i have red hair, dark brown eyes, a birthmark on my cheek, long fingers but strangely short toes, dimples, glasses, two piercings in my left ear and one in my right, and i'm the palest person in my immediate family.

What I Like: tasteful PWP (omg, is that an oxymoron?), proper grammar and punctuation (though, outside of my stories, i can't be arsed to capitalize), good jokes, witty insults, funny poems, good music, fantasy and sci-fi books and movies, slash (massive fan), yummy (preferably cheesy and noodle-y) food, and browsing the internet...oh yeah, and parentheses, obviously! *grins*

What I Don't Like: awful grammar (if you are literate, act like it, if you are not, what the hell are you doing here?), poorly written PWP (which is sadly the majority), movies with sad endings, and an unending (practically) list of things people do. i'm not the biggest people fan. *shrugs helplessly*

so, there you have it, folks. i won't put my fave pairings here, because i'm continually finding new pairings and fandoms that i love, but i will put some fandoms i particularly fangasm over: Harry Potter, Supernatural, Glee, Naruto, Star Trek '09, Star Trek: TOS, Twilight, and (maybe) Kuroshitsuji.

(1) i DO NOT enjoy the profane usage of the name of God and those associated with him. no, i'm not exactly a Christian, but my parents are and i was raised to be respectful of the Deity.

(2) i only write slash. i'm sorry, but i just can't do het. maybe, as i grow, i'll be able to manage some decent femslash but, as of now, just slash.

(3) my writing changes as i change, and i like to experiment. often in real life, i am unintentionally wry, and i like to try to let that beed into my stories. i'll be the first to admit that sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't. *shrugs and pouts*

Okay, chickies, i have finally figured out how to update and, as you should have guessed by now, can now do so somewhat competently. thanks for nothing and enjoy me fics!

Okay, rant time: i am so fucking tired of sam bashing! okay, yes, there are many situations that he could have handled much better, but the same can be said for everyone! yes, he left dean and his dad, but seriously, do you think you'd have done any differently in his shoes? he's a normal guy who wants a special someone to eventually settle down with, a good job, and a nice family. ordinarily, you'd be all for it, but since it's sam, oh well, he's such a selfish bitch! he's so mean! he doesn't care! yes, he fucking does! but he wanted a good life, and he went for it. i mean really, as immensely interesting as the Winchesters' life is to us, would you really call it a good one? so stop ragging on poor sam! we've seen how much he loves dean, so don't be so hating! i think the real problem is that we all seem to think the dean is the more shielded one, and sam is more emotional, but the truth is that sam projects a little emotion to fool you, but he hides deeper than dean. the truth is, dean is more easily readable than sam, multiple bitch faces aside. so yeah,. just had to rant about this, i'm not even sure anyone read this, but whatevs, it made me feel better.
