Loki had stopped trying to count how long he had been in the Void, it didn't seem to matter anymore. There was nothing but darkness, until he felt a light. It seemed like the soft blue light was calling to him, so he fell. He followed it to Midgard of all places, and to the human known as Tony Stark.

In which Loki makes a reprise but they don't know, in which King's make visits and in which people fall in love. I have no idea - the story just wouldn't leave my head; i didn't want another chapter fic so you get a one shot.

Some nights Tony would just lay there in his bed and listen to the music, letting is wash over him and lull him back to sleep – like a mother's voice soothing her child back into a peaceful slumber, all nightmares and monsters in the closet forgotten. Some things about how Loki acted in both Thor and the Avengers had me thinking. Now I have the Avengers thinking about them too as Thor points out a difference in Asgardian culture to his comrades. And meanwhile, Loki is left to think. And to plan.
