I'm sorry, everyone fibs a little on this page, right? I'm actually 17. Straight truth from now on, promise.

I like to write - It's fun and you can do it anywhere. It's important to have something fun you can do anywhere while you're in the whole high-school routine, I think. Lately I've just been coming up with things for my hour-and-a-half-every-other-day Creative Writing class, and I wanted another place to write and check out other people's writing so... a lil' trip to Google and an hour agonizing over an avatar that nobody cares about later and here I am!

I think fan fiction is a pretty cool thing; usually the reader has a strong emotional bond to the characters in the story because they've already seen some growth and development in the original work. If done well, it's a lot of fun to read, and to write. Of course, it's kinda a double-edged sword: if you don't put any of yourself into it or take any risks then it's basically the same story people have seen before - and that's bo-ring.

I think people here get that; I've read some really good things on this site. I hope I'll be able to produce something cool too.

Also, if you read anything I do, I'd really appreciate a review. I want my writing to get better so I'd like to hear about anything I could improve on. Thanks!
