Will is an orphan boy who suddenly gets thrust into a world of dragons. He never expected that he would become a member of the Trügál. In this new world he'll meet Sonny who isn't too happy about training a newbie. But what Will really doesn't expect is that there is an evil out there that wants to kill him. Will he stand alone or will he finally discover who his family is?

AU: Sonny and Will meet at the hospital in Salem. They both have cancer. Sonny is further along in his treatment than Will . Sonny becomes a mentor for Will in more ways than one.

Will and Sonny are two teenagers struggling with inner demons and neither are aware of the other's struggle until one fateful event changed their lives and realize their true feelings. Lies and manipulations compounded by insecurities cause rash decisions resulting in heartache for these lovers. Will the truth be revealed in time to save the love they share or will all be lost?
