A continuation of the AU that began with 'Prisoners' and continued with 'Interlude'. Lucien and Jean are free of the Japanese prison camp but must deal with the consequences of their long imprisonment.

Using Series 10 spoilers. Although Harry has successfully returned to the grid, life is not any easier. It seems his life is on the line once again, but this seems to put Ruth in even more danger.

It's only months after the death of Ros Myers and Andrew Lawrence, and Harry finds himself on enforced leave.

Four years after the end of the war Lucien Blake shows up at his father's house with his young daughter in tow and a lifetime of hurt to unravel, and Jean Beazley is there to help this broken family put its pieces back together, and maybe even find love of her own. AU.

When Lucien and Jean are stranded in a snowy field in July, Jean struggles to keep warm while Lucien tries to get them home for Christmas. Set in post 3.5, pre-Adelaide.

Harry is away from the Grid - AWOL, gone dark - and no-one knows where he is or why. Lucas has been left in charge of the team, and that can't be a good thing. So, what should Ruth do? A fic of 7 chapters only, set late-ish in S9.

This story opens around 6 weeks after Ruth's death, so this is a post-Ruth's death story, making this AU. It's a serious story, but it has its lighter moments. Characters are a few from S10, plus a number of OCs (because I enjoy writing OCs). It is now a story of 20 chapters.

Five times different members of the team found out Jen was shagging someone, and the one time they all found out it was Nick.

It had been the right decision to refuse Harry a second date; office romances were always doomed. But when a mission on foreign soil pushes Ruth to her limits, lines drawn in the sand become hard to maintain.

This is an assortment of writings from Tumblr. I wanted to put them all together, and was surprised at how much I have written there. I started writing about TDBM as an exercise of sorts, and it helped me fall in love with words again. I am dyslexic and let that frustration get to me years ago, but it feels good to be writing again. I am forever grateful to Jean and Lucien.

This fic is multi-chapter (of 21 chapters) and set in S10, beginning with the outcome of the Tribunal into Harry's "behaviour" re Albany. While this begins in canon, it doesn't stay there, and I have added a smattering of other characters.

I often wondered what happened to her so here is my imagining of what happened next, which probably bears not resemblance to Seven's idea. Thank you, my dear for allowing me to write this. x

What if Jean never went to Adelaide? What if Lucien had a better idea?

Lucien and Jean must negotiate a Christmas party in a house filled with mistletoe. Written for the TDBM Secret Santa challenge on tumblr.

AU - Lucien receives a letter from his mother asking him to come home because his father is dying. He returns to Ballarat to find a housekeeper being friendly with Genevieve Blake. Lucien must cope with losing his father, adjusting to the new life he's fallen into, and endeavor to make his mother proud. And what of this Jean Beazely, who is so unimpressed by his charms?

Jean Beazley is Ballarat's finest seamstress. Lucien Blake is her favorite customer who seems to need a suspicious amount of clothes tailored and made for him.

coda to 2.10: "So, what did you wish for?" He gestured to the ravaged cake and burned candles. Jean blushed as she thought back to his gentle Bravo and wondered how she could ever explain her wish to him. She smiled coyly. "Lucien, you know if I tell you the wish won't come true."

Coffeeshop AU. Jean Beazley opens her own tea and coffeeshop, but everything changes when Lucien Blake comes to town.

When Lucien's investigation leads to a tragedy, Jean must help him solve the problem.

"She didn't like him when they first met. Not that it was her job to care either way, but regardless, she didn't like him or even respect him one little bit when he first returned home to Ballarat." Missing scene, post s4, canon-compliant. Fluffy introspection and angst.

Set after S2, possibly before S3, but no Amelia, no Mei Lin, so make your minds up. Anyway could just be anytime in the Blake universe.

After S4 E8 - Jean wants Lucien to use his words. The S5 promo has probably made this AU, but I had already written it so I'm posting anyway.

While in Adelaide, Lucien has dinner with the Beazley family, and everyone's intentions are revealed.

Set during 4.1, this is a scene we were never going to see in the show! I'm sorry there's not much plot. There was more, but it all leaked out as I was writing it.

Jean sees Lucien off when he leaves Adelaide, not knowing when she will see him again. Their reunion is much sooner than either expected.

An alternative scenario to the start of Season 8. with a lot more soul searching. Ruth has returned from Cyprus, but not to MI5. Meanwhile Harry is close to a breakdown and has been forced to take a break. This though is Harry and Ruth, and it will be far from plain sailing.

Slight AU, picking up right at the end of s3. Lucien follows Jean to Adelaide, but neither of them could have planned for what came next. A story of allowing love to grow where it had once seemed impossible.

Another Adelaide story, in which Jean is missing Lucien rather more than she thought, and the secret she carries is at first a heavy burden for her.

Third in my Adelaide series, set after Ever-Loving Adelaide. Jean and Lucien decide to memorialize their romantic week together. Inspired by Ed Sheeran's Photograph.

Our detecting duo get into a spot of bother. But at least they're in bother together, and maybe something good will come out of it.

A story set on the bus to Adelaide. Set along the route, a stopover leaves the doctor and his housekeeper with a puzzle to work out before they can get to Adelaide.

The bus to Adelaide is caught in a storm and Jean and Lucien must spend the night in a hotel. What will happen?

One-shot (for the moment) set in season 5, three months after HR's date, ignoring the events that sent Ruth into exile, so I guess it's AU-ish. Before Ruth leaves London behind in the wake of Cotterdam, she has one final request to make of Zaf. When Harry learns the truth, his entire perception of her is blown wide open. As he struggles to come to terms with it, he'll be forced to face down some of his own demons, alongside hers. Now complete.

I always felt that Ruth's shooting of Rigaut would have left her traumatised, which it did, but in this story I am examining that time in more detail. I have kept Ros alive after the hotel bombing. 13 chapters.

Another Harry & Ruth tale. This one is set after the end of S10, with Ruth having not returned to London at the beginning of S8. What will she find there when she does? Is Harry even alive? 23 chapters in all.

This story is set about a month after the end of series 3. It assumes that Lucien did not go to Adelaide with Jean, and that he just let her go. So neither of them is exactly happy! Mattie tries to sort that out...

Harry, Ruth, redemption.

Takes place within S3 E5. When Jean's birthday night out goes terribly wrong, Jean and Lucien are left pondering the meaning of family, past sins, and their future.

This story takes place after S3 E6 and looks at what might have happened if Blake actually reacted to Jean saying she was leaving. Told from Blake's perspective. Slightly angsty Lucien/Jean romancefloof.

A very short fic about what may have happened after that scene on the bus. Please note, I haven't watched any of season 4 yet, so may stray from canon. Now multi chapter.

With the events after Albany feeling eerily familiar, Ruth need only make one decision to stop the pattern of the past from repeating. All characters belong to Kudos/BCC.

When Malcolm suddenly has to drop out of a day at The Oval with Harry for the Fifth Ashes Test, someone else has to step in to replace him. Set sometime mid series 5 - Harry and Ruth with sizeable cameo's from Malcolm, Zaf, Adam and Wes. Epilogue now added.

Set after the closing of the movie, "Spooks: The Greater Good", how will Harry deal with life on the run, especially since Ruth has died and his reputation is in tatters? A Harry-centric tale.

Another HR story, set after S 9 episode 1 (but without the rooftop conversation). Harry gets a nasty midnight call with bad news. Ruth's been hit by a car and is seriously injured. (Happy ending, I promise.) Now complete.

Set after Harry had asked Ruth to marry him, he seeks her out to help him through a personal crisis. 6 chapters.

Set in Season 5 Ep 1. Malcolm calls Harry a 'pompous old fool.' Seriously, would Harry Pearce sit on the couch and take that? I don't think so. I've changed the scene and the story for more fun with these great characters. Danger awaits Harry and Ruth, let's hope for a happy ending.

Fuelled by alcohol, Ruth reaches for the phone. There is only one man on her mind and only one subject.

Five months after Ruth has died, Towers sends Harry to the country for some R&R. A gentle story of renewal - in five chapters - also involving a small dog and a cat.

When Ruth had left for the second time to return to Cyprus with the boy, continuing had seemed almost impossible for Harry. He'd managed to survive the last five years through sheer strength of will. Now, however, his self-neglect has caught up with him and he's been forced to take leave. Will a chance encounter on holiday bring him the peace and hope he so desperately needs?

This is perhaps the hardest letter I've ever written. For months, I've agonized over if a letter was the right course of action; what to say, how to say it, and even if it would be safe to do so. A more happy, AU story following Ruth's leaving in 5.5. Now Complete.

This story - of 9 chapters - opens several weeks after Ruth's death. It follows on from my earlier fic, "Conversations In Cyprus", opening 2 years after that story ends. Hefty doses of Malcolm W-J and Jude Trinder. Rated T, but M from Chapter 7. Mostly AU.

Post 5.3. Harry and Ruth are finding their way back to each other after her refusal of her second date, but will a revelation from Ruth's past damage them beyond repair? H/R

An AU story which begins three years and nine months after Ruth has gone into exile, having not come home. That is, 8.1 never happened, and Ruth is still "out there somewhere", and Harry decides it is time he went looking for her. Rated T, apart from Chapter 5, which is M-rated. 7 chapters in all.

Written before season 10 aired. Harry is forced to leave the service because of the Albany affair, and Ruth must decide where her future lies in the aftermath. Meanwhile, William Towers is working behind the scenes on Harry's behalf.

Post series finale of Spooks. Harry is told to take some time off and advise from an old colleague leads him to a dream he thought was lost forever. Love.

Written shortly after the end of season 9. Faced with the prospect of losing his job, Harry leaves London to see if he is able to live a normal life, but gets more than he bargained for. Meanwhile, Towers tries to enlist Ruth's help to save Harry's career, and places her in a difficult position.

Another Harry and Ruth fic. Set right at the end of series ten after Sasha stabbed Ruth and going on from there.

Harry receives an unexpected visitor with a remarkable story to tell. Is it a lie, or is there truth to the tale of a ghost from the past that poses a grave threat to national security, but who could also return to Harry that which he desires most of all?

Another take from the end of 10-6. Starting quite similar to others, but I hope to go off on my own tangent soon. HR Now complete!

Set after Harry's poorly timed proposal. A light-hearted look at the possibility for a different outcome. Story title lifted from a song written by Shane MacGowan, which may have nothing at all to do with this story...but I really like the title.

Set almost 2 years after the end of Series 10. Lots of angst, but I promise the mood will lift. My aim in writing this is to repair the mess the writers/producers left us in at series end.

Harry is suspended pending a full inquiry into his career. Will it bring him and Ruth closer together or drive them apart for good this time? Story starts off a couple of days after the end of 9.8. Now AU.

Based towards the end of S10. Harry has been extradited to the US following Jim Coaver's death but his life is soon in danger. Separated once more, will Ruth be able to find him? And if she does, can she ever repair the damage?

Next scene after the end of series 10

Fiona and Adam need a break... Wes needs a baby sitter... Harry and Ruth need each other... What will happen? A bit of well needed fluff and silliness involving our favourite spooks couple!

Working together in Homicide, their shared history put behind them & hidden from colleagues, the last thing Jen and Nick expect is to be thrown together again in a 2nd u/cover mission, mirroring the one 4 yrs previously, when they were first introduced

What was Nick thinking and where was he going the night Dane mowed him down in his car? My imaginings of what Nick and Jen were thinking and going through during those days Nick was missing up until the last episode Ghosts and a bit beyond. Nick/Jen

The seemingly simple murder of a prostitute and the disappearance of her son becomes more complicated as the team work to solve the case while Jenn and Nick try to manage their changed relationship.

The threat of Homicide being closed down has passed, and Nick and Jen are finally together again. Or are they?

AU, post series 9. Following the inquiry, Harry has been expelled from the Service and is most definitely out in the cold. Ruth to the rescue, then? Catherine seems to think so... Probably will only be about three chapters long. Quite a bit angsty...

Post 9.8 and Harry's world is about to fall apart. There's only one person on his mind, however, one person that he needs to warn.

Harry proposes at Ros's funeral but Ruth's answer is a little different and begins a chain of events that become ever more fluffy!

Harry appears to have lost it and taken drastic action with Ruth! Now with 2 epilogues!

Set two weeks after the hotel explosion. Only two or three chapters...yet another ! different take on bringing HR together. I can't get enough of them!

Set after Ruth's return: HR face a lonely Christmas but determined to rebuild their relationship, Harry invites Ruth round. Includes a mixture of fluff & angst. COMPLETE :D
