The Great Wars are over. Jim Raynor and his men have left the Koprulu Sector behind, choosing to settle a world away from that sector of space. Unfortunately, the colony of Shanxi is not safe; hostile aliens have invaded, intent on controlling the Terrans and their bizarre technology. Unfortunately for the Turians, the Terrans have experience fighting hostile alien invaders.

Shepard is icily unsympathetic. Liara has reached the point of combustion. An unassuming communications specialist finds herself caught in the cross-fire. As a result of a twisted dance, they reduce one another to fragments. This story is a darker examination of the characters taking place during the events of ME3.

Commander Shepard found himself in command of six alien hunters from a neighboring parallel universe. Now, he has the new responsibility of trying to keep the XCOM operatives in his squad from tearing the Normandy crew apart with either rampant xenophobia, or just by plain old poor communication skills. Starts from ME2's Freedom's Progress. Ends in Collector Base? Not necessarily.

After the Collectors are destroyed, Shepard takes the crew out to Dark Star Lounge to get trashed. Mordin signs her up for karaoke, drunken silliness ensues. Rated M for language and suggestive content.
