Author has written 2 stories for Lord of the Rings, and Yu-Gi-Oh. Greetings! Moon Fighter here (or Moon for short)! I've been a member of FF.net for nearly 10 years (since I was 15). I can't believe it's been that long, or how much both myself and this site have changed. I was around during the NC-17 days, for crying out loud! Anyway, as you can see, I'm more a reader than a writer. Both of my published works are from my high school days, and unfortunately, both are dead in the water at the moment. I kicking around the idea of taking my LOTR fic back up, but I'm uncertain. When I started the fic, the movies were nothing but a distant rumour, and I had a somewhat clear idea of where I wanted to take that story. Unfortunately, I didn't write down any of my ideas, and I can't remember a thing about it. I would seriously like to thank the ~50 people who reviewed that story (if anyone even checks on me anymore, lol)! I never, in a million years, expected such a positive reception to that story. As far as fandom interest go, I STILL love Digimon very much, most specifically Adventure and Adventure 02. Ishida Yamato and Ichijouji Ken are still my faves from that series. I also sill love Yu-Gi-Oh!, although ONLY the first series. Hooray for Kaiba Seto! I also enjoy The Vision of Escaflowne, InuYasha, Love Hina, Fruits Basket, any and all of Hayao Miyazki's films, pretty much everything that CLAMP has done, and a few other things here and there. Pairings I Ichijouji Ken/Inoue Miyako (Digimon Adventure 02) This list really only scratches the surface; just because a pairing isn't listed doesn't mean I'm against it. In fact, I am not "against" any pairing. The point of fanfiction is to take a story and put your own spin on it; so why is it that people need to freak out because someone 'ships a pairing that they don't? My favorite type of fanfictions are Canon divergences. I think that's when people's creativity and originality shines through the most. Nearly every epic that I have fallen in love with (such as Athena's "Donkey Madness" saga, which sadly does not seem to exist in its completed form anymore) has been a Canon divergence. Happy reading/writing, loves! |
