Fan fiction is a wonderful genre in which to write. My Web site, "Fanfics by Candlelight," contains the fanfics I've written in my days on the Web. There's a little bit of Beast Wars, some WWF, and a lot of Backstreet, which is my 'fic focus right now. Check it out and enjoy. :)
