Finally becoming semi-active again after eight years, haha. Although, the plot dreamer in me hadn't stopped working, I just couldn't pen the words. But Nagi no Asukara came along and I suddenly had the urge to write again. Admittedly, I think my current writing feels different from my output in college (you do the math now, hehe). The words flow more easily to me, but there's still that feeling of wanting to improve. Who doesn't?

As for a little personal background: I have a degree in Linguistics, but aside from speaking Japanese and being able to distinguish sounds, I have nil experience practicing my social discipline. I've gravitated more towards IT in recent years and I'm quite enjoying tinkering with software and solving technical issues (as long as it's not mathematically head-spinning and highly technical jargon-free).

I have many favorite books, but select favorite writers: I like Maggie Stiefvater and Laini Taylor because they're great word weavers. And when it comes to world-building, I usually read Dianna Wynne Jones, Garth Nix, Neil Gaiman, and Patricia Mckillip. And because they write epic fantasy so well.
