Ooh, profiles, something I both excel and fail at. Excel because I can pretty much give people a good idea of who I am, but fail because they tend not to like me... or get freaked out and run away from their faulty computers screaming like someone just lit their butts on fire.

Imagery rocks.

So anyway, back to me. I've read novels since I was in my first year of primary school, loved it, always have. Been writing small stories all through my later years of primary school and early high school. Then I started writing an angsty personal diary, which naturally got passed around the entire school (EMBARRASSMENT) and was told I should try to get it published. Ha, get my personal diary published. Yeah right.

Then did a natural transition to fanfics after reading Anne Bishop's The Black Jewels Trilogy 16 times each. Those were ons that nobody really got to see, because they were terrible and were really only a frantic splurge of insistant ideas on a page. It was the only way I could stop the scenes from playing over and over in my head. I quit reading and writing for a while, but I was unable to stay away for long. I was introduced to roleplaying, where I was able to come up with my own original characters and let them run rampant, resulting in quite a few of my own original works in the form of disjointed separate scenes and scenarios.

After picking up Stephenie Meyer's books however, I found myself assailed with that same familiar but distant replaying of ideas in my head, triggered whenever I had a moment to sit alone. So now, I've started writing again, though this is the first time I've shown people my work, at least where fanfics are concerned.
