A year has passed since Joel and Ellie started a new life in Jackson County. After his a shift on guard duty ends, Ellie meets Joel and suggests they leave the compound, to set out on a new journey putting their skills to better use; making the infected extinct. Along the way, Joel is haunted by Tess and the lingering wonder of what might have been.

In the years following the outbreak of the cordyceps epidemic, Joel and Tommy's struggle for survival triggers the slow deterioration of their relationship. Follow them through the years as they flee their hometown, drift through quarantine zones, learn brutality and survival on the open road, and eventually find themselves in a city called Boston.

After the death of Marlene, her second in command takes over. They soon adopt the ideology of imperialism. On the other side, the new reestablished Republic of Texas still has faith in democracy. As time goes on in this post-pandemic world both sides have a common goal, to find a vaccine, with Jackson to be in the crossfire. These two new superpowers can't avoid each other forever.

Joel and Ellie had absolutely nothing in common from day one, aside from the fact that they suffered terrible nightmares. Chronicle the evolution of their relationship during the game, from the beginning to the end of the road in Jackson, as they comfort each other in the aftermath of every nightmare during their journey. Canon, and purely platonic!

Ellie wants to believe that all of the lost souls are happy in Heaven, but with the outbreak, Joel has a hard time believing. When they meet their Jackson City neighbors, they discover that the most challenging journey is a spiritual one, especially if they have to do it alone.

Part two to the series. After the events of part l, Ellie and Joel continue their lives at Jackson County, but soon learn that great dangers lie at hand, driving them to extreme measures.

Like many I was confused by the game's ending; so I decided to write my ideas on what Joel and Ellie may have been thinking. From there it accidentally turned into a story about life at Tommy's, how they will adjust and how the quiet life may turn out to be not at all that quiet. This is my first ever story, so please send me your impressions, positive or constructive!

It's six years after the Cordyceps outbreak ended civilization as we know it. As Joel is wandering in the west Texas desert, near death, he is rescued by a mysterious young woman with red hair and green eyes. Her terrible secret will change his life. AU: What would happen if Ellie was born before the outbreak, and Joel headed west instead of to Boston?

Surviving with a man she barely knew was the last thing that Ellie thought she would be doing, as well as being hunted down by the US military, Infected, and other survivors. Outside of the quarantine zone, Ellie now has to not only trust Joel, but also trust herself in a harsh world where she must learn to survive.
