Author has written 4 stories for Inheritance Cycle, Twilight, Lord of the Rings, and Sherlock. Hey Guys!! Prompts are always, always appreciated. If you would like me to write anything, either as part of a piece I'm already working on, or something new, please PM me! Thank you! A levels have dramatically reduced the amount of time I spend on here, but I've made it a New Years Resolution to write in order to control stress, so fingers crossed you'll hear slightly more from me than of late. I have eclectic taste in books, music, film and TV, although I tend to tend (see what I did there?) towards humour or geeky... I can empathise more than is probably a good thing with Miranda (those of you who don't watch it, you're missing a treat. If you do watch it, why not PM me, I'm always willing to discuss it!) All time favourite books are Harry Potter (comfort reading), Lord of the Rings and co, Captain Correli's Mandolin by Louis de Bernieres and The Angel's Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon (which, oddly enough, both feature a character called Correli...). I also love the Sherlock Holmes stories (and the BBC series, for that matter) and Hitchhiker's Guide, as well as the Falco series by Lindsey Davis, queen of historical crime fiction, which doesn't get half as much press as it deserves. Music varies from rock to folk via the curious in-between land of Snow Patrol and Coldplay, although I have to admit to liking classical too (I play the cello, it's not my fault). I'm currently mourning the loss of Dr Harry Cunningham from our screens in Silent Witness. I refuse to accept he's not coming back. I like writing parodies and other things of a funny nature, although I've recently developed a taste for slightly more sensible plots. Heaven forbid! I might write something serious on occasion, but then again I might not. But that's me. If you read my writing, I hope you enjoy it. "The Unintentional Dismembering of a Chocolate Cake", It documents the adventures of Eragon, Saphira and the gang after the final page of Brisingr, or some time around then. Another chapter may be added, but then again, it may not, as I believe I have the order slightly confused... UPDATE 10/8/11: The 'another chapter', if added, will probably be the second in a series of oneshots out of all chronological order. I just can't get it to fit in with the first chapter. UPDATE 15/1/13: It's been so long I'd actually sort of forgotten I'd written this, and for that matter where on earth I put the 'another chapter.' If it turns up in a post A-levels sort out, then I'll stick it up. "The Secret Diaries of the Volturi (aged 103,972)". . As the name suggests, it follows what the Volturi are really thinking after "Breaking Dawn" (which, if you have been living on the moon or at the bottom of a garden pond,-sorry for stealing your line, Fred- is the fourth book in the Twilight saga). Spoof, with higher than average levels of insanity. UPDATE 15/1/13: I don't think there'll be any more added to this, I've lost all enthusiasm for Twillight. But you never know... "A Rather Epic Game of Ping Pong". This is my first attempt at a Lord of the Rings fic, and is set after the events of the books. The fellowship meet up once again, to do battle against the forces of evil. Only, perhaps 'battle' is not quite the right word... "Tales from 221B" A series of probably not linked oneshots based on BBC Sherlock, may it be praised by all. Because it's my favourite thing. Lighthearted, silly, unapologetically daft... If you have any ideas or requests, please, please PM me. Inspiration is short and I need all the help I can get... Coming up: I've lost the 'Unnamed Doctor Who', which mean's it's probably in the same notebook as the chapters for Unintentional Dismembering... To be honest, it was fairly shocking anyway, so you're really not missing out on much. SILENT WITNESS NEWSFLASH: Inspiration has struck! I'm saying nothing more in case it runs away again, but fingers crossed for something in the first few months of 2013. Harry will not have left for New York, if that's of any interest... Please, in order to avoid disappointment, do not expect quick updates. It's not going to happen. Hopefully, you'll enjoy my stories. If not, any constructive criticism is welcome. I'm a fanfic writer. Reviews are some of my best friends. Thankyou for reading. Owl X A small note: That's all. Bye |
