I am an artist, writer in training, poet and avid reader. First and foremost, I am very excited to be joining this community. I have read a few stories thus far and I love the energy I am seeing from everyone involved. I have an idea for a story and I can't wait to share it with all of you. I predict that many a fine writer in the coming years will find great success and we can all say that they have walked these pages among us. I been struck with a new idea for a Star Wars novel, I have titled it NEW HOPE RISING (I hope that title is not taken yet as I have done a little research and have not seen it anywhere related to Star Wars). I like to write and simmer; meaning I write a chapter, then I write another chapter or two then come back to the first one and edit it. Then I write another chapter then re-edit the chapter. In this manner I hope to put forth my best effort. I hope you enjoy :o)

I have written 3 novels thus far, unpublished as of today although my first one is in the process of being shopped around. To hone my craft, now I write mostly short stories based on my youth thus far which I am selling for 0.99 on my website. I figure, why not? If I was to publish these short stories in magazines, I would probably get 0.04 a word but that would be a one time payment. Sure, there would be prestige in that, I guess, but that is not really what I am after. I'm trying to become a full time artist and that requires that I make living from my art. There is nothing to lose in trying for I follow one code of ethics when it comes to art: do the absolute best that I can each and every single time.

I maintain a blog at where I have brought back the FUROTW. What is that? Well, it is a weekly rant about things that get my juices flowing that particular week. It is mostly done in humor and people that follow the blog seem to really enjoy that weekly contribution. Take a look.
