I hope to provide distraction, entertainment, and thoughtful debate. I enjoy writing and find myself wondering what makes other author's characters tick. Fan Fiction is my way of dissecting my favorite character's decision making process and exploring how things could have been different. I have been an avid reader of this site for many years, and I look forward to sharing the ramblings of my mind with you all. I write for me, so if you don't like it, by all means, find a story more suited to your tastes. If, however, you find fault in my spelling/grammar, or the flow of my work then please let me know so I can fix it. I will be working without a beta for the most part, and I will never claim to be perfect. My fandoms are Harry Potter and Doctor Who. I have found that I enjoy crossing these universes with others, including but not limited to the Avengers, Criminal Minds, White Collar, NCIS, and (of course) each other. I tend toward Slash relationships or Gen fic. Very rarely do I follow cannon ships. I will thoroughly warn for triggers and content at the beginning of every post, so please read and pay attention! Generally speaking, I am not kind to my characters. Hardships allow for personal growth and sometimes you need to tear them down to build them back up stronger and better than before. I do not, however, participate in character bashing. From my list above, many of you will recognize several Television shows from the Crime Drama genre. My fics will almost always have an M rating due to the fact that I write about violent crime and also will have sex scenes in many of my stories. Once again *Please pay attention to all warnings for triggers and content before reading any of my stories* Finally, I will not post any part of a story until it is finished. I have no control over when the mood will strike to focus on my writing and I don't want to risk leaving any incomplete works (and their readers) without a conclusion. I will post updates weekly from the initial chapter of any given story. Reviews and constructive criticism are vital...it is often impossible for a writer to see that the leaps in logic and actions aren't cohesive when their characters decision making processes are all in their head. I will ignore hate speech of any kind. There is so much in the world to argue with and about, go find it and leave me be. I truly hope that you can find value in what I have to share, enjoy. |
