Once considered the single biggest failure in ZPD history was Chief Bogo's bane, an unsolved case that tarnished his perfect record, a failure that the savage case threatened to echo. But as Nick and Judy follow a lead into what was once considered an impossible case, they find themselves chasing a shadow, racing against the clock as animals disappear every day it's at large.
