I am reminded of a Secret of Mana quote: "But time flows like a river... and history repeats."

I'm older now. Much. But there are some things that haven't changed, and a desire to finish stories right is one of them. And so, despite the full work and rigorous college schedule I deal with, I'm committing right now to revise and finish Agent of Chaos, keeping to the very Pratchett-esk, somewhat simplistic style I enjoyed those years ago. Also, I fully intend with my new-found determination to edit Chrono Trigger, Shadows of the Past into something manageable good, leaving the plot and elements, but bringing the rising action and individual scenes up to a level I find acceptable.

Now you might ask, "Why now? Why after so many years? Not many people read it anyway: why edit now?"

Well, partially for practice. I haven't let my dream of writing die yet. I spent all last summer working hard, and I managed to finish my first FULL NOVEL. I haven't even tried to publish (its still in edit hell) but I DID IT. That means I have the determination and consistency to finish something.

So that's what I'll do. Finish things. I haven't stopped liking Chrono Trigger or Ranma or many others in all these years, and now I sit up and think to myself "I'm going to finish." So that's just what I'll do.

NEW NEWS:11/10/2008 Back to hack at it. I promise nothing but that I'll work on things a little each day.

OLD NEWS: 2/10/2003 I am back. Agent of Chaos is back under way. Chpt. 8 is done, just needs some editing, and 2 pages into chpt 9. The Chaos WILL go on!
