Cooking vegetables on the grill can be a tedious task. Veggies are normally pretty small or thin, so you run the risk of them slipping through your grill grates and burning to a crisp. That's why I always use a vegetable grilling basket when I'm cooking vegetables or fish on the barbecue. The secret to a good stainless steel grill pan is that it conducts enough heat to cook the vegetables while also letting in the smoke so you can get that tasty bbq flavor. The Cave Tools grilling grid does exactly this. The vegetable grill wok has little slits in the bottom that are small enough to make sure your vegetables don't slip through, but large enough to let in the smoke from your charcoal barbecue. The grill pan is deep enough to hold plenty of vegetables so you can cook for the entire family. It's also not just used for grilling vegetables. It can also be used as a fish grilling basket or for meat chunks, fruits, shrimp, mussels and other sea food. I haven't tried cooking everything on this veggie basket yet, but so far each meal has been a success. I also love that this non stick vegetable grill wok is dishwasher safe. Since the entire thing is stainless steel, you can just toss it in the dishwasher when you are done so you don't have to worry about hand washing it during cleanup. Not that you would have too much trouble anyways because it's also a non-stick bbq basket. Other barbecue grilling grids I have tried in the past tend to be flimsy and they don't last very long before they start warping and losing shape. Cave Tools solved this problem by adding thick reinforcing stainless steel brackets on each corner. This makes the basket extremely durable so it will never warp after prolonged use and exposure to high heat. I'm pretty sure this thing will outlast me in the long run |
