Hey, thanks for visiting! I'm not much for bios, but here's a little about how I got here.

Right off the bat, you'll only find stories about those loveable mutants the Ninja Turtles here! I've been a TMNT fan since the old 80's cartoon, but it wasn't until the 2007 movie came out that I started thinking turtles again, and when I started watching all of the 2K3 cartoon episodes, I was hooked all over. So here I am! My preferred 'verses are the 2003 cartoon and the 2007 film, and some of my writing actually blends the two.

What I strive for in my own writing is exactly what I most like to read. Which is to say, "poetry in prose". I live for a word, or phrase, or paragraph that gives me that shiver, that lump in my throat--that image so vivid I see it perfectly in my mind's eye... I agonize over my writing (which is not to say I don't have fun with it!), and try to give those same things to my readers. That being said, of course not everything can be poetry! So the trick is to mix it in seamlessly with everything else--humor and drama and pain and joy. :)

So if you read any of my stories, and you run across something that gives you a thrill, I've accomplished what I set out to do. And if you really want to make my week... tell me about it!

UPDATE 2/24/16: Yes, I am still around! I do not have much (read: any) time for reading new fan fiction, but I am still plugging away on Preludes. It's been slow going, partly due to the restrictions of RL, and partly due to being a little hung up on some upcoming plot points. Usual excuses, blah blah blah. I just thought anyone checking my profile page deserves some explanation for my lack of updates, and some assurance that I haven't give up!

UPDATE 10/7/14: To my fans, new and old, thank you for your continued support. Even though I've been scarce, I do read reviews and private messages, and I greatly appreciate them. Hopefully soon I will have something to reward your patience.

UPDATE 10/14/13: For any browsing this profile wondering where the HECK I've been lately, and if I'm doing any more TMNT writing, the answer is yes, I am. I have not given up on any of my works in progress, and my immediate plans are to continue working on Preludes. Life has gotten in the way, as it tends to do, leaving me little time to wrestle with the chapter I'm currently hung up on, but my intentions are good. I can't promise updates will come soon, but I can promise they will come. Thanks for stopping by!

Notes About My Stories:

1. Three of my works, "Bound", "Interludes", and "Preludes", are written around the same set of events, and while I think all are enjoyable when read separately, they are essentially a series. All other works are considered stand-alone, so although I occasionally draw on aspects of stories I've already written, there is no true order that needs to be followed to understand them.

2. I'm always looking to improve, so please know that constructive criticism is both welcome and appreciated - be it spelling, grammar, characterization, or anything at all.

Role Playing

For a time, I played the part of Raphael in the fabulous Terrapin Tarts role-playing game, which included such stellar players as Winnychan, Tori Angeli, Aubretia Lycania, Donny's Boy, and DeeMG.
