Eponine had always wanted to be seen. Enjolras had always wanted to be heard. When they meet one another on a cold December night it sets off a series of events that will not only give each other what they are looking for, but perhaps also changing one another's life, and the fate of Patria. E/E

Éponine survived the June rebellion, and it appears as though she is the only one. However, hope comes in the form of news that there was a man taken prisoner from the last barricade to fall. Éponine risks everything to help him escape, believing him to be Marius, but she will learn that fate has a way of tricking people.

Enjolras couldn't let Eponine do Marius's bidding, at least not while the Revolution plagued the streets of Paris, but she certainly wasn't fit for the battlefield. Still, they needed all the help they could get. How one decision would alter the path of history and stop one group from being forgotten. E/E.

In which the unbreakable girl and the marble statue fall into something that is not quite love but as close as either of them ever hoped to come. (Obviously) slightly AU.

Enjolras; for learning was his love, France was his mistress, and the men he surrounded himself with were his brothers. But when he gets lonely, he makes a hasty choice and sends his world spiraling out of control. And he drags every other poor soul down with him.

"They were a strange couple, the boy and girl who moved in next door." Enjolras and Éponine make it through the revolution, and now they have to live with the consequences and each other. She wonders how he survived the war, while he wonders how to survive her cooking. He's angry because his destiny's been changed, and she's angry because he doesn't know how to be anymore.

"'We shall hold fast for as long as there is breath. We shall endure for as long as there is hope,' he promises in a voice fairer than gold and brighter than glory. 'Damn,' she sighs, 'there goes my weekend.'" The revolution lasts longer than expected, and Enjolras and Éponine go a little stir-crazy at the barricade.

"He lets her go and she scurries away, and in his mind Grantaire's sneering because of course Enjolras wouldn't know how to hold on to a woman, even the slips and tatters of one." Enjolras and Éponine find each other in little cracks of time before the revolution, and then once more at the barricade.

Eponine was pushed out of her home when she was seven, and lived in the slums of Paris for another seven years, before being adopted by a wealthy Duchess. During her time as a poor girl, though, she met a boy named Enjolras, who she was best friends with. Now they are older, and much has changed. Will they find each other and be able to fall in love? E/E an AU

The revolution has succeeded, but Enjolras and Eponine find themselves in over their heads with friends, politics, and heaven forbid, each other. COMPLETE AT LAST ON THIS SITE!
