Right. I'll get started now. I'm 20, bored, and I like to read. Anything. Everything. I do write/have written a few things. Nothing of consequence. Nothing I like. Nothing worth the bother of posting or reading. Trust me.

The fandoms I read most often are Harry Potter, Phantom of the Opera, Supernatural, Psych, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Glee. A bit random, I know. There are probably others that I read all the time and just can't think of at the moment. Probably = Definitely. Like Legend of Zelda and Lost Boys aaaaannnndd... hmm. I'll add to that later.

I read mostly slash(who doesn't think that's hot? Seriously.), because for some reason 'girly parts' give me the squicks most of the time. Of course, in the context of a really good story, genitalia can be ignored ;) lol. And I love (capital-L, capital-O, capital-V, capital-E) adversary/rival slash. It's amazing. Uh-may-zuh-zing. I'm not crazy about het or femm-slash, it just doesn't float my boat (see above statement), but really I just go with the story. Plot's plot and however the author sees fit to write it is fine with me.

My favorite ships:

Harry Potter- Harry/Anyone-who-can-be-considered-an-enemy-at-any-point-in-the-series-and-is-passably-hot, Severus/Sirius, Sirius/Remus, Severus/Remus, Severus/Sirius/Remus, and ... no that's all I have right now. Fred/George has a certain appeal, as does Harry/Older Weasley Boys, Harry/Twins, and (left-field) Ron/Draco. Severus/Lucius isn't bad. Harry/Fenrir is unbelievably hot, and Harry/Marcus Flint threw me for a loop the first time I thought about it but it's featured in one of my all-time favorite stories. Next generation slash is pretty adorable, Albus Severus/Scorpius is my favorite. Albus/Gellert is great too.

Phantom of the Opera- Erik/Raoul

Criminal Minds- Spencer Reid/Derek Morgan, occassionally Reid/Hotch but not mutch.

BtVS- Spike/Xander is heaven. Spike/Angel(us), Angel(us)/Xander, Spike/Angel(us)/Xander, and Angel/Wesley all have their charms. Tossing in one of the other guys in the show from time to time doesn't hurt, Angel/Riley for example.

Batman- Bruce Wayne (Batman), Jonathan Crane (Scarecrow), Batman/Joker, Joker/Scarecrow.

Glee- Puck/Kurt was half the reason I got into the show in the first place, Puck/Sam can be pretty interesting, Finn/Schue is hot as hell, and Kurt/Karofsky was happening in my head halfway through Season 1.

Mighty Ducks- It's not seen very often, actually very little Ducks fiction exists in general, but I love BashSlash. Fulton/Reed is amazing.

Pirates of the Caribbean- Jack Sparrow/James Norrington is the very definition of love. Jack/Will works occassionally as well.

Psych- Shawn/Lassie is hot/cute/sexy-as-hell. I can see how Shawn/Gus can work, but it's not for me. Also, I just don't see Lassiter/Buzz. Ever.

Sherlock Holmes- Where to start?! Coward/Blackwood is practically canon, Sherlock/Watson is canon, Sherlock/Coward is adorable.

Supernatural- Sam/Dean. I don't even flinch at the incest thing there anymore, the way they were raised is so far off societies normal standards it's ridiculous they aren't banging in canon. Dean/Castiel is heavenly (literally). Crowley fits in there somewhere. Lucifer/Gabriel. I've read a couple Bobby/Dean fics that actually worked pretty well, too.

X-Men- I've only got a few main pairings from this fandom, even though the possibilities are mind-blowingly endless. Kurt "Nightcrawler" Wagner/Todd "Toad" Tolensky, Wolverine/Sabretooth, Logan/Scott, Logan/Kurt, and Evan/Pietro.

Zombieland- Columbus/Tallahassee is the only relationship in this fandom I will even acknowledge. Not that there are actually many more options to choose from...

Four Brothers- Bobby/Jack.

Doctor Who- Doctor10/Master, Doctor10/Captain Jack, Doctor11/Rory.

Fast and the Furious- Brian/Dom

Avatar- Jake Sully/Tsu'tey

28 Days Later- Jim/Major Henry West

TMNT- Raph/Casey, Leo/Raphael

Robin Hood- Robin/Guy

and occasionally, Legend of Zelda- Link/Ganon

OH! And, Lost Boys- David/Marko (not 'adversary' but still...)

Twilight- Before I mention pairings I'd like to defend myself here. I read the books just when they were starting to gain notoriety and found them to be... not engrossing, but pleasant. Enjoyable. The characters, setting, and plot were watered down and a bit juvenile but I don't mind that. As for the movies, I've seen about 10 minutes of one of them. Not a fan. As for shipping, Edward/Jacob is a favorite of mine mostly because it pisses people off that I'd dare toss the heroine and pair up the guys, but also because that is one hot picture I'm putting in my head. Edward/OtherWolves is great too, as are Jacob/Emmett and Jacob/Jasper. I also like Edward or Jacob with Mike Newton, or even better Mike Newton with Emmett.

Anyone see the pattern? haha Rivals/Enemies/Good+Bad. As long as it's well written and semi-plausible then I'm good. Otherwise it had better be wildly improbably and mildly inane (crackfic).

It really is hard to find good stories with the ships I like because it's so improbable that these people would ever hook up. That just makes it all the better when a supremely talented author pulls it off in a really good story, and then continues to do so again, and again, and again. cough-Lucifer-cough haha
