I am an aspiring novelist. They say fan fiction is the death of unique ideas. I disagree. Yes we steal the characters and stories and everything from an existing published book and write new stories about it, but that's only because we like it. We write for ourselves and some readers that want to be a part of the story. In all truth I think fan fiction writers are wish granters, fairy godmothers and Santa Claus. We don't harm other people. The idea of writing a fan fiction begins only in two words: what and ifThe only problem problem regarding this is if fanfiction writers actually make a profit out of it. That is very wrong. That's plagiarism; illegal and stealing of ideas. But other than that? I say it's just pure hobby and just for fun, because that's only what fan fiction writing is all about: FUN.

I love Cassandra Clare and whatever negativity I've heard of her, I don't care. I love how she writes and that's what it's all about. So it's not a surprise that I'd have Shadowhunter related fics here... expect that.

I also love John Green. I mean who doesn't?

But before all these young adult genre, before I was sucked into this world, I am a huge-- and always will be-- fan of Historical Novels and my most favourite-- except for Jane Austen, of course-- is Julia Quinn. I just adore that woman. Her mind, her humour, her wit dialogues are just so asgdsghdshgdsk... see? I have no words for it. That's how I love her. I can't explain it. I also love Judith McNaught if I'm in a very serious mood. She's amazing, too. And then there's Eloisa James and Connie Brockway and...I could go on forever with these authors so I'd stop now.
