![]() 30 something lover of all things well written. Pastry Chef by trade, so you teach me to write my ideas and I'll teach ya how to make the best chocolate chips cookies ever!!! I like to read sic/fy and fantasy books mostly...Favorite authors would be Brent Weeks, Trudi Canavan, Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson...Catching on to a pattern yet :) And a few oldies of David Eddings and Dean Koontz (although I like his pre 1995ish stuff more). I have a teenage nephew that likes to read so I've zipped through a lot of the teenage supernatural angst books as of late too...we like to discuss the stories so since I read ridiculously fast it works out well. I'm only drawn to completed fan fiction that has an actual plot and storyline. I'm envious of those that can develop one. I can not, I think I have good ideas but I would just be like See jane run up the hill. Jane ran down the hill. I have no clue how to embellish the story to make it grab a person and make em wanna keep reading. I like reading twilight ffn but not a huge fan of the books themselves, I thought Edward was creepy, the pregnancy was stupid and that she rushed through and didn't think the 4th book through completely...Don't judge we all have our opinions. I just remember reading the 4th book with an odd sense of dejavu like I'd read a similar plot line were girl gets prego and has to drink blood to survive...And I've read a lot so there is no way I could of placed a title to the feeling. Team Jasper, but sad that Alice is always made into an Evil Pixie just to clear the way for a sweet Bella...WHY???? |
