Hi, I’m silverscully, and my main interest is writing vignettes on couples from science fiction franchises who have subtle-to-obvious sexual tension. This wasn’t my intention starting out, but that’s what my profile’s ending up being, apparently.

In complete seriousness, though, I am fascinated by how many facets there can be to human relationships, particularly sexual ones. Romantic/sexual relationships are so strange a concept to me (I am what you would call a “gray-asexual”) that I find myself exploring the sex lives of my favorite characters through writing. This might seem weird, and perhaps it is, but writing is one of the best ways to come to terms with yourself. Also, it’s just fun.

My main interests are science fiction and fantasy. So far I have written little vignettes on The X-Files (Mulder and Scully are the embodiment of true love, in my opinion), His Dark Materials, and Alien. I’m not interested in writing long works with lots of chapters, so if you’re looking for me to continue a story, I probably won’t. That’s not to say there’s anything wrong with serialized works; it’s just not what I’m interested in doing here.

I’m also a rather infrequent writer - I just write when inspiration hits me, and if I think others will enjoy it, I publish it here. Because of this, I may or may not respond to direct messages in a timely fashion. Don’t get your feelings hurt. It’s nothing personal.
