Funny how time flies.

I haven't visited this site in nearly six months. I remember once upon a time, this was my home away from home. My infatuation with writing was fresh and exciting, and my love for different fandoms continued to inspire me. I was driven, I was passionate. I was determined to find a place in the world (which I was sure would be as a teacher/writer)- and what better way was that then to practice writing on a site filled with like-minded people?

I would tell myself that my love for my various fandoms and passion for the Art would never die. That, to a extent, is true- I still love to write, and am still amazed and inspired when it comes to magnificent works of written art. I still love the fandoms I used to obsess over. It's just now, my infatuation is gone with the make-believe dream of writing I had created.

If you've been in contact with me as I've piddled around on here, you'll know I was constantly in plays and performing. Over the past year, it has become evident to me that, although I still adore all of the arts, performing is my true talent and overall passion- it's something I have been doing nearly non-stop for six years, and I can't possibly see myself doing anything else in the future. Slowly, my online presence has died out as I've gone to focus on the different aspects of musical theatre- acting, singing, dancing.

I have a feeling I won't be missed. That is alright- my impact on this community was small and contained, very much within the borders of what I was comfortable in. I'll still check in once in a while, to reply to messages, maybe even to post a story I've scratched out.

Many of you on this site are like me- people searching for themselves, or just looking for a good time. But others of you aren't. You are true writers, true artists with a passion for the written word and with something you need to say. Something that feels like passion burning through your chest, with emotions and characters bubbling out into words. I wish you the best of luck. Honestly, I wish I was like you.
