![]() Author has written 2 stories for Fable, and ARK: Survival Evolved. Hi all! You all might know me better as Saxypitgirl07, and it was quite common to see me hanging out in the marching band and Harry Potter sections of this site. http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1329830/saxypitgirl07 This is the old account that I made back in 2007. Go ahead and visit it to read the old stories and ideas that I had from when I was 15 to 17 years old. If you want me to continue any of the projects found on this site, get at me on here and I'll see what I can do. As my edit says, although I figured out how to get back on that page, I won't be posting on there or answering any emails. All communication with me will be through this account. I have been writing short stories and poetry since I was six years old. I might make an account on FictionPress.com to publish said short stories, but I wouldn't count on that in the near future. I am a very busy woman! (UPDATE: http://www.fictionpress.com/raynefalls2014 Yeah I know, it's the same name as this account. It's easier for me to remember haha. Used to go by the name Skywolf0710) I'm not really very good at writing actual fan fiction, but I figured I'd make a new account to be able to make comments and such to all the other brilliant people who DO. Let's get to know each other, shall we?? Bio: I'm 25 years old and a museum studies master candidate. When I'm not working on museum stuff, I'm doing something technology related or helping someone with IT complaints (yay a job), or in those rare instances that I have free time I'm playing Fallout 4. I like beer and deep philosophical discussions, sometimes even at the same time. I'm something of an artist as well, and do wood sculptures in the summer months. Random Facts: I own a German Shepherd named Aurora. I absolutely despise snow (so my choice of living in Upstate New York seems rather stupid, thinking back...). I have a mild obsession with Arthur C. Clarke's science fiction books. I greatly enjoy drawing, and painting landscapes. My most creative time of the day is between 1 and 3 in the morning. I absolutely LOVE food. I'm positive to a fault. I'm a Capricorn. I play 8 instruments. I can comfortably play 4. I'm trained in Martial Arts. AKA: Don't pick a fight with me :P My Pen Name on here is the same as my XboxLive Gamertag and my Steam name. I own two dachshunds: a red girl named Cricket and a black on red boy named Cooper. I also have a demonic cat named Luna. Now, here are some lists of my favorite stuff, with a brief explanation beforehand. Like I said, I enjoy lots of random stuff... My favorite fanfiction stories to read are: Harry Potter (I grew up with this series.) HTTYD (Toothless is quite possibly the most amazing creature ever devised by DreamWorks. He's cute, badass, loyal and funny all at the same time!) Portal (The cake is a lie.) Marching Band (As previously mentioned, I play 8 instruments, and have marched with 3.) Fallout (Post-Apocalyptic 1950's idea of the future and the nearly limitless world at your disposal means so many amazing ideas out there.) Fable (Again, a huge world with an ever huger story.) Favorite Ships: Fallout: SSxPiper (Male or female) SSxMacCready (Usually female SS, but I'm open) Harry Potter: HarryxHermione DracoxHermione Fable: PrincexPage HTTYD: HiccupxAstrid (obviously) Reading is one of my favorite things to do when I'm not swamped with school work. I'm really into fantasy and sci-fi kinda stuff, and the occasional romance, but I'm not really much of a romantic... Favorite Books: Harry Potter series Twilight series Arthur C. Clarke books (As previously mentioned, I have a mild obsession) Dean Koontz (His ability to scare the hell out of me with mere words is fascinating to me... Not quite an Alfred Hitchcock, so I'll read 'em.) A Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich Night (This book gave me nightmares for two weeks... Brutally accurate, and stunningly visual) The DaVinci Code (Well, I DO love history...) Spinward Fringe Series The Hunger Games Trilogy The Ender series by Orson Scott Card I really hate horror movies. Thrillers or suspenseful ones are ok if I'm in the mood. I do, however, like sci-fi, adventure, fantasy, comedy and romance movies. Oh, and musicals. They make me happy. :-) Favorite Movies: How To Train Your Dragon RENT Phantom of the Opera Princess Bride The Core The Dark Knight Avatar (the blue people) Wall-E The Sound of Music Up! Despicable Me Captain America The Avengers Iron Man I am a gamer. I love to play Xbox and computer games (never was too fond of the PlayStation controllers) and it usually helps me to de-stress. Unfortunately, I no longer own an xbox, so all I play are steam games anymore. Feel free to get a hold of me on steam, I don't have many friends on there. Favorite Games: Portal & Portal 2 FEAR Fable II & III Fallout 3, 4 and New Vegas Borderlands Legend of Zelda DOOM 3 Runescape (Yes, I willingly admit this. Don't judge.) Red Dead Redemption Skyrim Far Cry 3 Starpoint Gemini Minecraft Rebel Galaxy ARK: Survival Evolved I don't think I've left anything of importance out. So, send me a message sometime, and we can chat. I like to chat. It's fun :P When I critique stories, I usually look for: How close to canon the characters are (I enjoy OOC as well, but if it's poorly written, then it just annoys me. Personal preference of course, I probably won't read it if it's too OOC.) Depth of character development (esp. for OCs) How realistic the setting/world is (or perhaps "believable" is a better term.) Spelling/grammatical errors (Not a member of the Grammar Police or anything, but don't sit there and write a story in text/IM language and expect anyone to want to legitimately read it...) General depth of the story (AKA if I feel you've moved too quickly from one thing to another, I'll tell you. I like detail, it helps to immerse the reader in your world.) And if I REALLY REALLY like your story, believe me, I'll tell you. :-) Disclaimer: I am NOT a flamer, so nothing I say is meant to be taken as such. If I have a negative comment to make concerning your story, it's meant in entirely a critical fashion to help you make your story better. Considering that is one of the main purposes of reviews, I feel it's my duty as a reviewer to help you as authors in that way. As such, I hope that people will do the same for me when I do start writing again. Stories: The White Suit - My very first posting on this account! I have been trying to figure out the best way to put this little one-shot, so I decided to hash it out and then post it for everyone's perusal. I'm aware it's probably not very good, and there are sooooo many places I could expand, but I just wanted to get it out there quickly before I lost my nerve. (Fable) (One-shot Complete) Survival Devolved - Aiden wakes up on a mysterious island filled with strange creatures and no memories. He meets a woman named Madison, who also remembers nothing. Can they conquer this strange place together or will they succumb to their past and their own will to survive? (ARK: Survival Evolved) (In Progress) |
