![]() Author has written 1 story for Lost Girl. My apologies for taking down my stories. I had a mini crisis. I promised some of you that I may repost one day but if I did that, I would want to clean up especially A New Fae (originally post first chapter Oct 2011) as my first FF. I was so new to writing but I loved every minute of writing it. I am going to repost ANF but will do it as I clean it up so I hope this isn't irritating to those who followed that story and who favored it. It will be back but just be patient. Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to come back. I know this story line is a bit old given where the series has gone. I am just posting again for those who loved it, and maybe a few new people who will also embrace it. As for who I am, I'm just a schmo who came up with a story line and felt like giving it a go. I loved writing ANF, loved the story. It made my heart race at times brought me to tears, and I was writing it!! I hope to find that passion again. My normal life is mundane, just average joe working a job I hate that I actually went to university for, but in this world, anything is possible:) Cheers Dee BEST ADVICE: FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS, DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU, YOU CAN'T DO WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU DO My friend KMON1 sent me these quotes the other day. As a writer, as a person, you can go through periods of self doubt, these quotes are a good reminder for everyone to just live large and do your thing. “There is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is; nor how valuable it is; nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours, clearly and directly, to keep the channel open.“ - Martha Graham, icon of Modern Dance “Don’t let anyone rob you of your imagination, your creativity, or your curiosity. It’s your place in the world; it’s your life. Go on and do all you can with it, and make it the life you want to live.“ – Mae Jemison, American physician and NASA astronaut |
