Obviously I like to write, or I wouldn't have an account on this site. I don't know if the stuff I right is any good or not, but I figure this is the best place to find out.

Well, its been a few days since I published my first story on FanFiction, The Xeautian Chronicles: Rendezvous in Edra. I never realized how many stories were published on this site so I guess it comes as no surprise that I've had only 12 hits on my story. But, what I've noticed is that not many people get past the first chapter, which says to me it may not be that interesting or that good. When you're writing something, it seems a whole lot better than it really is, at least it does to me. I think I'm good at developing characters and writing backstory, but I think my biggest weakness is writing logical dialogue between my characters and developing my characters emotions. So, I'm going to put the Xeautian Chronicles on hold for a while. I have the ending written and a basic outline down for what will happen and I think it's good, I just need some time to develop my writing skills and improve my ability to develop characters.

I'm going to shift my focus to things that I believe are my stronger areas: writing things more along the lines of biographies of the characters I have created. What I'm going to see is if those go over better with the FanFiction audience. In the meantime, you can read the first installment in The Xeautian Chronicles and let me know if you like it and how I could improve it.
