![]() Author has written 2 stories for Twilight, and Harry Potter. I plan on writing stories, but probably not a lot of them, becuase I'm writing original fics on two other sites. I might not be the best, but I try to get better, my biggest problem is typing really fast, and not catching the small grammar and spelling mistakes. I'll usually go over my stories later on, and fix them. I'm not too bad about it though, but I do have problems with tenses. Most of what I write is past tense. At the the moment, I am working very hard on a Twilight fanfic. Since I don't update my profile much, then there's a pretty big chance that I've already posted it. And, there's a chance that I posted it without much thought about where it's heading. Summaries are subject to change. Complete (There's nothing, yet.) WIP Category: Books- Twilight WIP Category: Crossover/Books- Twilight/Harry Potter Well, I'd like to think I'm not so much of a procrastinator that I never finish my stories (because believe me, I've written quite a lot). Lets see... I passed my English classes with pure luck, so I'm sorry if there are screw ups, as I beta the stories myself. But please, if there's a big glaring mistake, or even just one word wrong, or the sentence seems choppy, point it out to me, I don't mind. As long as I don't have to re-upload the chapter on Document Manager (although if i'm working on just one story, and it hasn't deleted itself, then I usually keep it up.) I don't mind flames, though I'd like if it had some logical backing. I do not want someone leaving a review, telling me how horrible my story is, yet reading all the way to chapter 72. If my stories don't go well, and I don't have many people wishing for me to continue, then it's likely I will either delete the story, or stop writing it, and work on others. I try to set certain days that I update, though there are times that I forget, or I don't have the motivation to write, even if the ideas are flowing. I'm female, I'm moody. If I reply to a review (keyword- if), and it's something nice, or asking about the story, I very well may say something offensive. I don't like being offensive, so don't think of it that way. I'm shy, and I, in no way, like to hurt people, physically or emotionally (though I admit there are a few people that I wouldn't mind doing just that.) A pet peeve of mine, reading a story where the writer goes off and describes the... relations of a pairing that doesn't have anything to do with the story. Okay, so I read slash stories, for the slash. If I wanted to read about hetero sex, then I'd read stories that didn't have some sort of variation of slash as a warning. There's also good chances that I'm not going to read a story that contains rape of one of the main characters, or being whored out. Yes, I'm the kind of person that likes reading/writing about virgins. A major pet peeve of mine, guys with long hair. If it falls pass their ass, there's a huge chance right there that I'm pushing the back button. Truthfully, I don't like it when it's even at the man's shoulders, but I'll tolerate it then. So far, the only characters I don't mind where it goes past the shoulders is Jack Sparrow and Legolas. Which is sort of wierd if you think about the actors who play both of them. One last thing, I like happy endings. July 02, 2011 For those wondering, I have anonymous reviews blocked, and I don't intend to take it off anytime soon. I'm really sorry but after dealing with two users on Fanfiction and Fictionpress, where a spat ensued, well, I tend to take measures to keep them from being able to message me. The first time, on Fictionpress, it had to do with one reviewer having a general dislike of my story despite finishing through it, and couldn't see that his/her review was actually a flame, and definately didn't like when I called him/her out on it. The second time happened on the day I wrote this, truth be told, dealing with me giving a considerably harmless review (It wasn't even a flame, just a small thing that I pointed out that had to do with the complete lack of comma's in at least the first two chapters. I even went on to say that I LIKED the story. Let's just say there's a reason why I stopped reading past the second chapter. (It has to do with a VERY nasty review reply I recieved soon after submitting my review, calling me demeaning names and such)) Anyway, that's the story behind that. I might take the anon and pm block off after a while. Depends, really. |
