UPDATE: SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 02, 2013

Hi guys. I recently changed my school program and am now commuting from my parent's home from it by commuter bus each day and am finding myself feeling a bit isolated, a tad lonely, but mostly just with all this time at home I'm really missing my fandoms and fanfiction! I also have this burning desire to write. I do admit, my focus is more on an independent novel I am writing that is separate from fanfiction (I've been thinking of it for 5 years now!) But I really want to reconnect with this fandom and get my stories finished, and the practice from writing them and the learning, and i just really miss the feel of these stories and the characters. However... it's hard to write because I need to re-learn what I was writing about and thinking, and I also feel like some of my writing really isn't very good and some plot choices! But if you bear with me, I would like to continue with them. It would also be super awesome to have someone to talk to about my story (MfmN) and what they think of what's going on, just someone to talk to at all, that would be super motivating and fun, so definitely send me a message if you're thinking about it! :)

I will finish each story.

Hey guys, I'm still around, and one day my stories will get finished. Hopefully sooner rather than later. I'm in my second year of university now (as opposed to an eleventh grader, when I started). I'm going through testing for a learning disability and am finding school difficult, and life just very busy and hard to get everything done in, in general. But I still am passionate about these stories, about writing, and this community that I sorely miss. I am working on Monster from my Nightmare, but I won't post a single other chapter until I finish writing the whole story. I won't let any of you down again. If you want to know what's up, shoot me an email and we can talk. Sorry for the wait in getting this out, it's all in my head... I'll get it down. Love you ! xox

The Next Update

The tenth chapter of Monster from my Nightmares is currently being written. For those who’ve been wishing for it, this chapter will be in EPOV. Anxious to hear more about Edward’s thoughts on ditching her guy friends, hitiching a ride and speeding away with a stranger, her sudden turn to La Push, and then finally her arm-slicing incident upon her arrival after noticing his figure in the parking lot? Yeah, I’m eager for it too. More Bella & Edward interaction, more of Heritage Collegiate and how everyone’s doing there (like Jess, Ang, and Mike), and of course, more of the Cullen Clan and our favourite wolves from La Push. Keep tuned in for the next update!

I try to have my chapters be at least 5000 words in length, so far there are none less than 5400 words (I would say a 3000 words would be the lowest amount I would have a chapter be), and my longest chapter is 11000 words; the average is about a wordcount of 7000 (though I always aim for 5000, but then end up doing a little more).

Progress

May 15/11: I have begun Chapter 10 (EPOV!), and have written 800 words. It's pretty rough and needs some work, but thus far we just have an overview of Edward's thoughts on Bella up to this point of the story. Next I will be furthering the story and show more of what's going on at Heritage with the much-loved Brinnon gang: Jess, Ang, Mike, Tyler, Eric, etc.

My Fanfics

Currently: Focusing completely on Monster from my Nightmares. This is my favourite story, and I do not want to leave any of my readers hanging again. Once it’s done, then I’ll have time to focus my full attention on The Dead Girl, and we’ll just have to see what happens after that!

MfmN -- Monster from my Nightmares: Bella has left to a boarding school in Washington to protect her parents from the people of her past. She was fearful of everyone she met, but tried to act normal and blend in. Things were going okay, until she met someone who looked just like them. Ghostly pale, inhumanly beautiful, melodic voice, unnaturally graceful, saccharine smell... What will Edward think when the new girl is so devastatingly afraid of him?

TDG -- The Dead Girl: Edward couldn’t control himself in biology, not with Bella’s dulcet smell. He attacks the room of humans, leaving Bella for last to savour the blood. Then Alice shows up, trailed by Emmett and Jasper. They rip him off the girl to yell at him, and then they quickly began plans to cover this up or get away. They were too preoccupied to notice one human still lay awake—and changing into a vampire. They leave, and the EMT take Bella to the hospital and three days later the morgue. Bella traces the Cullens scent back to Alaska, in need of answers.

BSWD -- Blue Skies & Wilted Daffodils: This story begins from a part in New Moon, right before the day Bella confronts Jake in La Push. Bella loved Edward, and he broke her heart. She couldn't blame him; he deserved better. She was finally taken somewhat out of her disarray by family friend Jacob Black, but then she leads him on and he doesn't want to see her anymore. Or, is that the reason? How will Bella cope when Jacob, too, leaves her? One thing is for certain: she's not about to sit around wallowing in self pity. Bella is going to find a way to ease the pain. Bella finds a way to get what she wants, but happens when she ends up a member of the Volturi in Italy? What will happen when the Cullens find out? And what is the Volturi really like behind-the-scenes? What's Jake doing and thinking after Bella ran away? Will he find her?

About Me

My name is Becca. I was born in 1992, 21 years prior to 2013. This is my fourth year out of high school; I worked for one year after I graduated, spent two years at University studying Psychology where I was diagnosed with a learning disability, and am now an honours student in college in the Child and Youth Worker program and plan on finishing my degree (or a similar degree, like Social Work), after this. I have two cats of my own (1 year old non-purebred Bengals, Zebediah and Zuri). I live at home now to save money with my accumulating student loans and commute to my small college. I enjoy art -- drawing, painting, pottery. I like creative writing (as you might guess!), and hope to write a book series one day (I've been thinking one kind of idea for 5 years now, but am far from really even getting the basics down yet). I like to learn and work hard, but I also like to relax. I'm a homebody and a bit of a loner, but I guess I just haven't met enough people to spend time with who fit my personality (nerd, introspective, quiet, relaxed, homebody, artsy, animal-lover). I have a sweet boyfriend named Matthew who I've been dating over a year and a half now, but he's at my old university that's 4 hours by bus from where I am. I enjoy life and want to be a foster mom one day and maybe go into art therapy and recreation therapy (I haven't really figured out those plans yet). My name is Becca. I was born in November, 18 years prior to 2011. I’m brunette and brown eyed (like Bella!). I love photoshop. I like cycling. I currently work part-time as a receptionist as well as at a Bed and Bath store as a sales and stock assistant, and am trying to get another job for a few more hours (let’s see what happens!). I have a wonderful boyfriend named Jaeho (he’s Korean) whom I’ve been dating for just over a year and a half now. I am extremely close with my family and consider my mom to be one of my bestfriends—right there beside Jaeho. I have a dog named Mindy and a cat whose named Missy (my dog is super cute and cuddly and sweet, my cat is demanding and loud and mean..). I start my first year of university in September ’11 after taking a year off just to work/make money for uni. I’ll be taking my Bachelor of Arts and majoring in History and Sociology. What I’m going to do with my degree, I haven’t decided yet, but I have 4 years to figure it out!:)
