It’s funny how much I love to write but find it so hard to write about myself!

A little about me – well I am 25 years old and mum to a beautiful little girl who while quite a surprise at the time I would never change for the world even if it has affected my creativity quite a bit – it sucks that I have so many potential stories for so many fanfics swirling around my brain and I just can’t seem to find enough time to get them out into the world. I am also currently working on some other original pieces of work that should they ever be finished will probably sit around for my little girl to read when she is old enough!

I published my first Roswell fanfic on Sunday 3rd May 2009 – it was two years in the making due to various different reasons – school, uni and life in general and has survived various computer crashes and restarts (I nearly cried each time as I always forgot to back it up!!) but I credit my daughter with giving me the confidence to get out there and start getting some of these stories off my laptop and also I credit all the authors of the stories that I have read over the last year or so, seeing what you have written/write continue to inspire me to find what little time I have to write – you all helped to keep me absolutely sane during the last five weeks of my pregnancy when I was confined to bed to which both myself and my fiancé are very grateful for (him especially so as it stopped him having to run to the library every couple of days to get me more books!!)

I absolutely love Twilight (though why someone couldn’t of given me the books while I was on maternity leave I don’t know!!) I was so intrigued as to what the hype was about when the movie was released in the UK but didn’t actually do anything about it until two things happened – I saw Robert Pattinson on an entertainment programme making me stop what I was doing (and not because of his insanely good looks!!) it was because he spoke so passionately about the character of Edward Cullen that it made me want to find out more about this deeply complex character that he was going to play and why people hadn’t reacted to favourably to his casting; the second I went into a bookshop that was closing down and Twilight was 75 off!! I brought it straight away and to my immense pleasure (and also deep irritation!!) I got so involved in the book that I read it in a day whilst my five week old baby was sleeping – Stephanie Meyer writes brilliantly and I hope to god that she does decide to continue on with Midnight Sun as I agree with her that Edward does deserve to have the story told from his point of view.

I also love High School Musical – again another massive hit that took the world by surprise and took me ages to see – but something else that I instantly loved and will probably end up being the Grease for my generation – my best friend and I actually went to see HSM on tour and we absolutely loved it and could barely sit still in our seats without either dancing or clapping away to the songs!! I can’t wait to go and see HSM2 with her in October!!

Other stories that are on the go on my laptop are for Stargate Atlantis, Twilight, Dark Angel and Star Trek Voyager – I hope that I can continue writing and that people continue to review my work no matter whether they love or hate them also I am debating about whether to do a sequel to Roswell – A new life as I do have ideas for it but wondering if I have the time to write it – we shall see!!
