Okay...was looking at my old page and...WOW. All my favorite songs I haven't listened to in ages and I couldn't even figure out movie the quotes I had were from...that's what happens when you don't TOUCH your profile in over a year.

Okay, firstly I'm OBSESSED with Sherlock Holmes, House, Enola Holmes, Disney, Ben Barnes, Coupling, Mythology & Fairytales, Art, Music, Theater, Film, etc.

Let's start with the Sherlock Holmes bit, shall we? Probably, no - definitely, the GREATEST novels and short stories ever written. I have been a fan since I was 6...sort of. It kind of started with my sick obsession with The Great Mouse Detective. And when I say sick, I mean SICK. I was in LOVE with Ratigan and eventually was convinced, even when I was 13, that somehow I was going to marry Basil. Thank God for Johnny Depp/ Jack Sparrow/ new obsession with Pirates of the Caribbean, for saving me from that one.

Eventually that obsession turned over to Sherlock Holmes. I started watching Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century and when I was 12 I read my first Sherlock Holmes story, The Five Orange Pips. It was love at first sight, and the rest is history.

My favorite Holmes novels are A Study in Scarlet and The Hound of the Baskervilles. My favorite short stories are A Scandal in Bohemia (Irene Adler is NOT Holmes' love, okay? Yes, if ever there was one it would most likely be her, but people seem to forget she got married and left the country) and Silver Blaze (the ending always makes me laugh).

My Holmes obsession recently (and when I say recently I mean over the past 3 or 4 weeks) has introduced me to the amazing Dr. Gregory House (M.D.) ;D Within this few weeks time I've seen, I don't know how many episodes, and have somehow been able to get myself caught up, fully immerssed in the story, and anxiously awaiting season 6!! Yeah, as far as favorite shows go House has completely blown all my other favorite shows out of the water (with the exception of Coupling) . I've become so obsessive that anytime House is on I go running for the nearest TV,like the silly little fangirl I am, practically screaming "MY SHOW'S ON!! I NEED TO WATCH HOUSE!!" I hate watching it with my mom though cuz she's a nurse and loves to scrutinize everything saying "That's so odd. Maybe it's --." or "You know this isn't at all realistic." Yeah, annoying."
