I'm not a writer, by any means, but I LOVE to read! I would to be a Beta Reader, but unfortunately, I don't ever think I'll post a story.

So this is the first time I've ever been involved in a fanfic site, even though I went through the Potter craze, love LOTR, etc...this site is just fueling my addiction to Stephenie Meyer's story. I think the woman laced her pages with a highly addictive substance and it's not fair! I didn't even get a fighting chance. I first read Twilight this past February on a cruise to Mexico. I had never heard anything about the book and just happened to keep seeing it pop up on BN.com's best seller list. So I picked it up before the trip thinking that it was some kid book (since it's YA and I've NEVER read anything YA, they just didn't have that stuff when i was a kid...i read books...just books). I knew I was in trouble when the woman laying out next to me on the rear deck practically hugged me when she saw what I was reading. Again, I had no idea what the heck she was gushing about...she asked me where I was in the book and I remember telling her that, "Ummm...not far. I think Bella think Edward's a vampire?" What an idiot! I wish someone could have video taped my moment of cluelessness. To add to my idiocy...I also remember thinking, while reading the book, that, "huh, you know? This would make a fantastic movie! I wonder if anyone is going to make it?" Again, what a moron!
