Real Name: You can just call me E.
Gender: Female, so far as I can tell.
Date of Birth: April 3rd, 1992.
Location: Oklahoma, USA.
I am called 'Starfang', from my favorite weapon in my favorite game series, Dragon Age.
Had to add the extras, due to just 'Starfang' already taken. :p
I'm twenty-seven, work retail, and am certainly not new here. I've been off and on FF.net since '08!
Several multi-chaptered stories are already in the brainstorming stages, with one of them midway through it's prologue.
One of them is for A Song of Ice and Fire, or Game of Thrones, for those unfamiliar with the book series.
The second is for Fullmetal Alchemist, the one and only anime series I am in love with. This one is based around
the original manga/Brotherhood TV series.
Anything that I have on my favorites list are stories that I highly encourage other readers to try.
I will tell you now that my schedule fluctuates, so consistent updates are unlikely, yet no story will go unfinished.
Fandoms include (but are not limited to):
Doctor Who, A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Star Wars,
Legend of Korra, V for Vendetta, Fullmetal Alchemist, D.Gray-Man, the DC animated universe, The Mummy franchise,
Assassin's Creed, the Chronicles of Narnia, the Underworld franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Spyro the Dragon,
The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings, Arrow, the Lucifer TV series, the Marvel cinematic universe, Dragon Age, and the Disney Renaissance.
Not My Cup of Tea:
Yaoi/Yuri pairings that aren't canon.
(e.g. - R. Mustang & E. Elric is not cute. It's creepy.
One's a teenager, and the other is in his 30's.
Honestly, that's got to be borderline pedophilia.
This 'pairing' is what grates at me the most on this list.)
Male pregnancy/'mpreg'.
(There is no possible way that this could ever happen.
In no universe, real or otherwise, does this make sense.)
ANY non-canon pairings.
(e.g. - Harry & Draco does NOT happen, I don't care what anyone says about it.
Also, the Hermione & Snape pairing makes me want to claw my eyes out with a rusted spoon.
I also will not be writing Original Characters (OC's) as love interests.
The original works must have a relatively noticeable nod to a possible ship I can sail on.)
Gender-bent characters.
(The characters were brought to life with a certain gender already in mind.
In my opinion, they should stay that way. I can't explain any further than that.
This is simply a matter of personal preference.)
Modern AU stories.
(e.g. - ASoIaF no longer takes place in fictional realms, but is now in a real life setting.
Uh, no. The stories take place in Westeros. Keep them there.
There's a reason why the stories take place in the locales that they do.)
Crossovers.
(Enough said.)
I'm not saying I have anything against the people who write stories like those stated above.
Some of them are written extremely well, and I commend each author for their accomplishments.
Those types of stories just won't be something that can be found on my profile.
In short, I will write:
NO non-canon yaoi/yuri. NO 'mpreg'. NO non-canon pairings.
NO gender-benders. NO modern AU stories. NO crossovers.
To expand on the 'no yaoi/no yuri'; I am NOT homophobic by any means.
I would like to make that perfectly clear. As stated, it's just not my style
to write about. Thank you for understanding.
