I am here for two reasons: P&P and 'Bones'

I was severely late to a fabulous party that is 'Bones'. My husband and I discovered the show in January 2017, just as the show was about to wrap up. Truth be told, it's a good thing because I'm not sure I would have been able to handle some episodic cliffhangers, let alone season cliffhangers. Kudos boneheads who lived through it! We are now the proud owners of 12 seasons worth of DVDs and finally finished mid-September. Nine months for twelve seasons with a month long hiatus for my own broken leg isn't too bad considering we kept up with our other shows and could only watch late at night...

Pride and Prejudice (ok, Emma, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion, too) has been a favorite of mine for a healthy decade. I only own 8 copies of P&P (each has its own purpose, I promise!), two of which are annotated versions. I have found some published P&P fanfiction at my local library, but I love the variety this meeting place offers.

I haven't written anything besides tax memorandums and letters of business for over a decade and I haven't written for fun since... maybe ever. I have two small children who take up most of my time but I steal time during naps and after bedtime to write what I can. Thoroughly enjoying my first venture into fan fiction. The people on this site are by far the most encouraging group of strangers congregating on the web.
