The Master is rescued from the Time War by an unexpected saviour and found by the Doctor. Will he ever fully regain his sanity? And how ever will the Ponds manage to put up with him?

The Master makes a grievous mistake, one that he can't seem to cope with; he's killed the Doctor. There are whispers, though, around the drum beats in his head,and the Doctor speaks to him still. "Fix things" He says, "Rewrite my destiny." Displaced in time, the Master does the only thing he can do- He complies, and sets out to write a story that was never meant to be told. SLASH

The prophecy was clear. The Doctor's song would end that day. But the Master didn't know that, and even if he had, he had never been one to follow rules anyway. Now with his body breaking down from his sabotaged ressurection, he has to co-operate with the Doctor in order to stay alive. And with the drumming silenced, he realizes he must regain his old friend's trust.

It is a great tragedy, to be destroyed from the inside out, by the things you have done. No one is blaming you for them, no one even knows they are there, but the small voice in the back of your head is raging. It is making you feel guilt. It is tearing you down and setting you aflame.

When the Doctor manages to save the Master from being time locked during EoT, he isn't quite sure what to do with him. So, he hands him over to UNIT for Rehabilitation. But what happens when a certain undying captain has different ideas? *Finished*
