Ian has lost two of his best friends and seems to be unable to cope. After several suicide attempts he ends up in the hospital where he somehow ends up seeing his dead friends. He realizes it is a hallucination due to a drug. Eventually a new family moves in down the street from Ian's house. They have a son named David who changes Ian's life and possibly saves it.
