![]() Author has written 2 stories for Twilight. Hello all, My name is Sarah. Most people need an explanation to my screenname, xsarahskankx- so here it is! -The x's are just because they make me feel cool, they have no significance whatsoever -Sarah, is obviously my name -The skank part is what most people wonder about, it has a few meanings; My friend Inky (I gave her that nickname, long story as to why) thought because I gave her an...interesting...nickname that I had to have one as well, so she said because I'm so "un-skanklike" that she can call me skank. Let me tell you, we sure as hell get looks in the hallways yelling "Hey Inky!" "Hey Skank!!." Now, the second meaning is that Skanking is a type of dancing you do to ska music/at a ska show. I adore ska music, and skanking is uber fun. Thirdly, I just really like the alliteration =D My avatar- My friend drew it for/of me in the ninth grade and posted it on my locker for my brithday. I love it, even though I have changed quite a bit since then, and decided to make it my avatar because it's truly one of a kind! Favourite Books...In no particular order The Princess Bride (William Goldman) Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (Rachel Cohn & David Levithan) I read it BEFORE I knew about the movie, I love Michael Cera, but he can never be Nick O'Leary. Try searching 'Jake Epstein' in IMDB, he would have been the perfect Nick. Fight Club (Chuck Palahniuk) The Twilight Saga (Stephenie Meyer) The entirety of the Den of Shadows collection (Amelia Atwater-Rhodes) Mortal Instruments (Cassandra Clare) City Of Glass was AMAZING! The Harry Potter Series (J.K. Rowling) The Notebook (Nicholas Sparks) If you haven't read this book- do it! It's 100x more tragic and sad in the book than in the movie. Wicked Lovely (Melissa Marr) Ink Exchange (Melissa Marr) Favourite Music I'm a hardcore eclectic. I listen to everything from ska (i.e. Catch 22, Streetlight Manifesto, Sublime) to punk (Fugazi, Flogging Molly, Black Flag, Ramones, Alkaline Trio) to Folk or indie (Great Big Sea, City and Colour, Death Cab For Cutie) to more of a rock/rock influence/punk rock (The Tragically Hip, Brand New, The Spill Canvas, Weezer) and I LOVE the local music scene i.e, Stop Drop 'N Skank, ill Scarlett, The Knockouts, Keepin' 6) Yes, I love all music, I have no limits when it comes to it. Activities/Pastimes I love watching hockey and curling. I'm on the curling team at my school...I love walking my dog and going to shows and just hanging out. I love to paint, and writing music/poetry is my passion. I would love to direct films. I plan on going to university majoring in film production. Oh yeah!! I'm also have a love of baking, and I like to play guitar and write some songs.
